Edna is overjoyed when Tom tells her he’s fallen in love. Believing it to be with her, Edna suggests he tells the woman how he feels. Later, Tom declares his feelings for Rosemary in front of the family and a distraught Edna. What will happen to her now that Rosemary is in control?
Meanwhile, Turner is alone in the aftermath of the trial. Seeking vengeance he goes to see Adam in prison, but a shocking surprise awaits him on arrival.
Also, Donna and Marlon continue to struggle in their attempts to find a home. Jasmine suggests that they consider building a cheaper eco-home but Marlon is unsure. After Eli taunts his brother’s masculinity, Marlon is forced to change tack. Can the young couple afford to take another gamble?
Monday, November 13
Edna is shocked to discover the forged structural report while checking some files. She goes to Len and hints at the problem and he urges her to be cautious. Will Edna sacrifice her career to see justice done?
Elsewhere, Eli and Jasmine go drinking in the Woolpack and the youngster is served by Val. One drink turns to many and before long Jasmine is drunk and confesses her hatred for Debbie, Scott and their money. Will Eli seek to use this information to his advantage?
Also, after losing more business to the Woolpack, Louise gets her own back by reporting Jasmine’s underage drinking to the police. Val is on the verge of completing a dodgy wine deal with Jamie when the officers arrive. What consequences will Val have to face?
Tuesday, November 14
Edna informs Tom of her discovery but he is quick to dismiss her fears. Undeterred she goes to question Jimmy and he quickly becomes angry. Tom enters and is furious with Jimmy’s blatancy, before turning his attention to Edna. She insists that she will go to the HSE, but Tom threatens to reveal her secret to Peter. What will Edna choose to do?
Meanwhile, Val receives a summons from the police and is quick to bar Jamie and Jasmine from the Woolpack. Jack is incensed by the previous day’s events and tells Val that Diane is due back tomorrow. Has Val ruined everything?
Elsewhere, Eli tries to convince a hung-over Jasmine that they can work together to take Debbie and Scott’s money. She dismisses him though, insisting that she would never trust another man to help her, particularly another Dingle.
Wednesday, November 15
The Sugdens are shocked to learn that Billy Hopwood might get parole and the news overshadows Diane’s return. The family is confused when she organises an impromptu party and then laughs uncontrollably at the news of Val’s problems with the police. What has caused Diane to change so drastically?
Elsewhere, Edna hands in her resignation and sets about convincing Jimmy to tell the truth. They are interrupted by a furious Tom who orders her away from his son. But after Edna persists with her moral quest, Tom takes matters into his own hands.
Meanwhile, Grayson mistakes Perdy’s illness as a sign she might be pregnant. Unable to hide her guilt she blurts out that if she was pregnant the child might belong to Matthew King. How will Grayson react to her infidelity?
Thursday, November 16
Edna is horrified to see Peter back in the village, accompanied by Tom. Afraid of what Tom might do, Edna admits to Peter that she isn’t his mother. Peter demands to know why it has taken so long for her to tell him and is angry when she says it is because of Tom’s blackmail. Unable to cope with her deceit, Peter leaves the village forever.
Also, Tom is livid when rumours fly around that the Kings are almost bankrupt. Matthew promises his father that incoming capital from the housing development will soon ease their worries, but Tom wants to use the pension fund instead. His anger grows when he finds it to be empty and turns on his sons. Are the Kings going under?
Meanwhile, the villagers are concerned when news spreads of Billy Hopwood’s impending release. Bob and Kelly agree to keep the information from an already fragile Viv, while Daz and Jack visit Billy in jail. An emotional Daz warns his father to stay away and pledges his loyalty to the Sugdens. Will Billy listen to his son?
Friday, November 17
Edna presents the forged report to the HSE and their officials turn up at Pear Tree. The house is searched and Jimmy is questioned again, but no evidence is found. Later, Matthew blames his father for their problems and a vote is taken on Tom’s future. Is a new King about to be crowned?
Meanwhile, Bob learns of the forged report and his hopes are raised that the Kings will be punished for Dawn’s death. He is aghast when the HSE inform him that Edna’s evidence is insufficient. What further steps will Bob take to avenge his daughter?
Elsewhere, Diane and Val use their charms on Inspector Watkins at the police station and are relieved to escape with a warning. Jack is annoyed by their childish behaviour, but the sisters continue to celebrate in the Woolpack. However, an unexpected visitor soon wipes the smiles from their faces
