    Sam tries to convince Eli to turn himself in as the thugs will return. Eli is adamant, however, that he can look after things himself and asks Sam to steal Zak’s gun for him, promising he can sort things out without hurting anyone. Will Sam be convinced?

    Meanwhile, at the B&B gastro night, Jean is riled by Louise’s flirtatious style. She watches Terry eyeing up Louise and begins to feel insecure again.

    Elsewhere, Emily sneaks into Butlers Farm to see Sarah and return her blanket. When Sarah wakes and starts to cry will Emily manage to slip out unnoticed before Katie catches her?

    Eli, wearing a balaclava, bursts into the Post Office with a gun, taking Viv and Kelly hostage. After Viv empties the safe he fires a warning shot and escapes with the cash.

    A short time after, Eli meets Nick and Gary and hands over the cash. Eli sneakily hides the shot gun under their car, and he disappears into the bushes. As Nick and Gary are about to leave they notice the gun under the car and pull it out as the police swoop and arrest them. Has Eli’s plan to frame them for the raid worked?

    Meanwhile, Ashley and Jasmine get a shock when they arrive home to see Laurel, Ethan and Steph having lunch together. Ashley is furious to see Ethan back and demands an explanation.


    Oct 24th, 2006
    One-hour episode

    Zak becomes suspicious of Sam and follows him to Eli’s hideout. At Seth’s hide, Zak pounces on Sam who confesses all about Eli’s reappearance and connection to the heavies that beat up Marlon. When they stumble upon Eli, Zak attacks him, pinning him to the ground. Eli begs forgiveness, explaining he knew he would be killed by the thugs so set them up with the Post Office raid and tipped off the police to ensure they went to prison. Zak can’t help but feel impressed but can he forgive Eli?

    Meanwhile, Viv remains shaken following the Post Office raid but is determined to go back to work. Everyone fusses over her and she eventually breaks down admitting the raid brings back memories of Vic’s death. Is the stress of the ordeal going to have repercussions for her pregnancy?

    Elsewhere, Laurel’s concerned Emily can’t keep away from baby Sarah when she sees Sarah with the blanket that Emily returned to her. Laurel tells Emily that she needs to leave Sarah alone from now on. Emily decides to leave the village but will she be able to leave Sarah behind?



    Oct 25th 2006

    By the side of the lake, a heartbroken and hysterical Emily contemplates suicide to escape her desperate situation. She fills her pockets with rocks and wades into the water. Sam is poaching nearby and is shocked to see a body disappear under the water. Can Sam save Emily in time?

    Viv can’t settle back into work at the Post Office so Bob and Jamie try numerous ways to help her relax. Jamie gives her a spray can to ward off any potential intruders, but she’s unimpressed. Meanwhile Bob buys her massage balls to calm her down. Will they help calm Viv’s nerves?

    Elsewhere, Pollard’s unnerved to hear from his solicitor that Steph has a strong case for her share of the business. Could Steph’s impending trial be Pollard’s saviour?


    Oct 26th, 2006
    Left alone in the shop Viv panics when Victoria and her friends hurl eggs at the window. A distressed Viv begins to hyperventilate and collapses. Eli sees and calls an ambulance. When the ambulance arrives Bob is anxious when he hears both Viv and the babies are at risk. Will they get the hospital in time to save both mother and babies?

    Meanwhile, Sam takes Emily to the Dingles but Lisa attacks her and Zak is equally appalled and does nothing to hold Lisa back. It’s left to Sam to break up the fight. Later, Sam and Emily run into Paddy. How will Paddy react to the shock of seeing his ex-wife?

    Elsewhere, Val offers Paul a huge wage to spy on Steph at the factory until she is safely behind bars. Is Paul up to the task of super sleuth?


    Oct 27th 2006.

    Viv’s contractions are brought under control but Viv and Bob still fear they may lose their babies. Still in pain Viv tells Bob this is all her fault because she should never have got pregnant so late in life. As Bob and Donna sit at Viv’s bedside, Viv drops a bombshell.

    Elsewhere, Paddy informs Paul that Emily is back and staying with him. Paul offers Emily support and asks her to stick around. Debbie isn’t so hospitable and shouts at Emily for bringing Sarah back. When Emily sees Katie with Sarah, Emily tries to approach her but Katie warns her off. Will Emily be driven out of the village?

    The Kings' accountant warns Matthew and Carl that they must release some cash by selling the haulage company or the refuse business otherwise the company could go under. Can Matthew and Carl save the King’s enterprise?.
