Harold reacts badly to the news of Sky’s pregnancy. Sky’s devastated but Harold softens after realizing that his tendency to moralize was probably the reason Kerry never came to him when she was pregnant. Dylan offers Sky an olive branch, only to learn that she’s still pregnant. He’s hurt and angry, feeling that Sky’s secrecy typifies her lack of respect for him. Sky makes it clear to Stingray that Dylan is the father, and admits a growing connection to the baby. Stingray’s advice about embracing life’s curve balls helps crystallize Sky’s thinking. She finally makes her decision - she’s going to be a mother.

Karl and Susan finally give in to their passion. To protect Rachel and Zeke, and avoid getting the Kennedy kids’ hopes up, the contented couple agrees to a secret affair in order to give their relationship a test run. Sexy sneaking around ensues, but how long can Susan lie to her kids?

Rachel and Stingray narrowly escape discovery by Lyn, and Dylan condemns the dangerous game his brother is playing. Meanwhile, Rachel sneaks home late at night, only to cross paths with an equally cagey Susan (home from her tryst with Karl).

Harold is furious to find Lou and Mishka still brewing samagon and orders them out of the house by morning. Their pleas fall on deaf ears until Sky speaks up in their defence.
