Yes, they are doing number ones this week.
Hopefully we will have some good song choices then this week!

"Number 1's" give them such a huge spectrum so there's no excuse for picking the wrong song this week.
But pleeeeeeeeeeeeease...NO MORE SWING!!!!!!

Rain_, that is one nasty penguin! (Your banner).
How can Louis Walsh call Ray a one trick pony and then rave about Ben, he is singing in the same style every week, that rocker voice. Me thinks he is talking from someplace other than his mouth.

Ray should have gone not Nikita. I think the judges are picking the wrong songs for the contestants. This week finally a band that are in the age bracket of the contestants. Are the contestants singing Westlife songs? Last year's contest was way better.
I agree. I'm getting bored already with this series.
If the contestants are singing westlife songs I know what Ray will sing...
X FACTOR loser Ashley McKenzie has hit out at judge Louis Walsh for giving him the boot - claiming it had nothing to do with his singing skills.
The 20-year old - kicked off the talent series during the Abba-themed show – was sent home by Louis who chose to save Robert Allen, one of Sharon Osbourne’s acts.
Now Ashley, who sang The Winner Takes It All, believes his early exit had nothing to do with his ability and everything to do with the rivalry between Louis and Simon Cowell.
“Something that Louis said to me made me think there was a bit of politics going on,” Ashley told Now magazine.
“He told me: ‘You look good, you sound good and you’ve got star quality.’ But he still sent me home. If he thought I was that good, why would he do that?”
The youngster believes Simon has the strongest team in the show and that Sharon and Louis will therefore try to vote tactically against his acts.
Ashley, from Croydon, maintains he is not bitter about going. But he added, “People forget it’s not just a competition between the acts, it’s a contest between the judges, too.”
Now Ashley plans to grab whatever singing opportunities come his way, and in the meantime will be supporting his pal Ray Quinn, who’s tipped to go this week.
“I think Ray’s cheeky,” says Ashley. “He works the stage really well.”
