Hollyoaks, it has the perfect blend of comedy & drama. Weird I said that about Hollyoaks considering it's supposed to be Neighbours slogan isn't it?! Or atleast it used to be anyway..

I haven't watched it properly since Madge died (which was a long time ago I know!) and tuned in a few months ago to watch an episode and it was like a different show!
    So many new characters lol

I used to watch Neighbours back when it started (well at least when it arrived on BBC1 in October 1986). I haven't watched it for yonks though, only catching it occasionally. I went off it years ago when they dumbed the show down and made the show full of kids, and it's worse than ever now. It's such an awful and corny show now imo, I don't miss it one bit. At least with EE there's the chance one day it will improve, with Neighbours that's impossible.

I stopped watching Neighbours after Dee's death, i used to be addicted to it up to then but now i never watch it, i think it's got far too stupid but i have started watching Hollyoaks now and i really like it so i am going to go with Hollyoaks.

I've always loved neighbours...it's sunny and that's enough to warm me up :P kidding...I prefer the characters and the fact that they have a diverse mix of characters. When I watch Hollyoaks there are only a few characters that really stand out, the rest seem to sort of merge. I do like the mix of story lines too and I love the general light heartedness of neighbours.

My vote would go to Hollyoaks. I've watched both shows from the beginning. I still watch Neighbours when I can,I'm not that pushed if I miss it. I never miss Hollyoaks. I think its better than all the other soaps around, they have all gotten a bit boring recently. The Claire storyline has me hooked.
