Kym Rider strolled back onto Coronation Street earlier this week - with her on-screen family in tow.
The actress, who plays feisty Michelle Connor, returns to our screens on Sunday, August 13 and almost immediately lands a job as the new barmaid at the Rovers' Return, much to the disgust of Liz McDonald (Bev Callard).
An insider revealed to DS: "The men of Weatherfield better watch out - it's not just pints Michelle will be pulling!"
Michelle's not back on her own, however, arriving with her 14-year-old son Ryan, played by Ben Thompson. He's a cheeky lad who's eager to learn the ways of the world from his two uncles Liam and Paul - played by Rob James-Collier and Sean Gallagher respectively.
Liam joins his younger sister and nephew in Weatherfield on Wednesday, August 30 and soon spies a great business opportunity in a naïve Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson).
Older brother Paul is the man behind the operation and arrives on Wednesday, September 6. He has the cash but is a man of mystery and very secretive about his past.
The source continued: "We don't know much about the Connor brothers but what we do know is that they're in the rag trade and started out on the markets. While they're not out-and-out villains, they're only just on the right side of the law.
"They're certain to give Danny Baldwin (Bradley Walsh) a run for his money in more ways than one! Liam definitely has an eye for the ladies and it's not long before he's making a move on Frankie (Debra Stephenson). Michelle, meanwhile, soon has Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) eating out of the palm of her hands."
Of the latest additions, series editor Garth Philips said: “Coronation Street’s going to be firing on all cylinders this Autumn, and right up there in the mix will be the new Connor family. We held extensive casting sessions to get this family right, and the energy that Sean, Rob, Kym and Ben have will certainly make them a joy to watch on screen. They’re a twenty-first century Coronation Street family, and we hope our viewers will be as enthralled and excited by them as we are.”
