Linda Thorson returns

Linda Thorson has started filming again in the Dales.

The 59-year-old actress - who previously starred as Emma Peel in The Avengers - will return to our screens next month as Rosemary Sinclair.

As previously reported, Linda landed a regular role in Emmerdale when she proved to be highly popular with viewers.

A spokeswoman for the show told me: "We're pleased to welcome Linda back as a regular cast member. She'll be back on screen as Rosemary from the end of next month."

Linda is contracted to the show until the end of the year with a view to continue into the new year.
