I don't think it is damon hill as he has been out with the stig.. I think he is a f1 driver but not who you have mentioned.. whoever he is.. he is good

Saw it yesterday, and it has got me thinking again. Who is he the mystery man?

After last night, I haven't a clue, although Jeremy Clarkson did sort of give a slight clue I suppose, but he must be an (ex) F1 driver, to have been able to have driven the F1 car last night I'm totally intrigued - I might start a campaign to reveal the Stig to us avid viewers

Ok.. think I might know who it is.. They said last week that he hates the dutch.. Germans are well know for hating the Dutch so I reckon it is Frentzen who use to drive for Jordan F1 team...

Did you see the episode when Clarkson said that The Stig had been arrested when walking across the Ghobi (sp?) desert because the authorities thought he was an islamic terrorist? Could this indicate who it could be? Slip of the tongue or bad tasting joke??

Bad tasting joke.. Jensen button was on last night and when watch his lap Clarkson said "all F1 drivers take that line, the stig doesn't" and jensen said that the stig wasn't an f1 driver.. Clarkson just said "maybe he is"

Uhm sorry to disappoint you Frentzen has a Dutch girlfriend! And Germans do not hate us they love us, it is the other way around, well it used to be.

Yeah saw it and heard the quote, I just love Jensen and Ray Winstone, good show last night, it had me in stitches again. I thought he could be one of the Rally drivers, but my husband is convinced that the Stig is a well known British driver but not a F1 or WRC driver, let's guess some more.
