Chantelle signs £300K book deal

Just incase you'd forgotten who she is, Celebrity Big Brother winner Chantelle Houghton has signed a £300,000 deal to write her autobiography.

The book is expected to concentrate on her time since winning the C4 show in January.

Since the show she has presented her own show on E4 reports the Evening Standard.

And not forgetting the fact that she recently got engaged to fellow BB contestant Preston.

Her autobiography will be published by Random House's Century division, which won a bidding war with three other publishers after sending her a giant wedding cake in celebration of her engagement.

that is an outrage!!! she is getting that much money for a book about the last 3 months of her life.. all she has to do is cut out clips from newspaper and bind them.. book finished.. would you buy it? I certainly wont

Yet another Z lister writing her autobiography. It shows just how silly the world is becoming. She is a nobody. Bet she can't even spell autobiography. Still it might be useful to keep in the bathroom in case you run out of loo roll.

oh dear - £300k for a book that is going to be complete nonsense. Do the publishers really believe that they are going to recover their outgoings from the sales of this book - I really doubt they will. Makes me mad, her receiving that kind of money for doing diddly squit
