Jasmine is desperate to sort out the confusion in her head and she dares Cain to show her what a man can give her that a woman can’t. They kiss and Cain suggests taking things to the bedroom. Will Jasmine agree? Later, Debbie finds a distressed Jasmine and has another go at patching things up. Racked with guilt, is Jasmine able to assure Debbie that they are still an item?

Meanwhile, Paddy examines Jonas and tells Andy and Katie that it looks as though he has navicular disease and may need to be put down. That evening, Paddy seems genuinely down as he tells Toni about Jonas and she is moved by Paddy’s sensitivity.

Also, Steph and Adam return to the village and announce that they got married. The villagers are stunned, particularly Turner, who hints to Adam that he is worried that he’s taken on a lot. Adam outlines his happiness and Steph, picking up on her dad’s concern, assures him that Adam is her rock.

Steph wakes up full of energy, but after eating the breakfast that Adam prepared for her, she is soon visibly more relaxed. Laurel is the opposite – very groggy and tired. Adam realises Laurel has taken the drugged drink meant for Steph and covers saying it must be a bug. Adam is clearly unnerved by Laurel and Ashley’s presence and later breaks the boiler so they have no option but to move out.

Later on, Steph catches Adam adding a pill to her dinner. Shocked, Steph questions him and he explains that the pill calms her down. Can Adam convince Steph that he is doing it so that she feels better and make her accept the medication?

Elsewhere, Hari tells Katie that certain drugs could prolong Jonas’ life. Paddy fumes that it is unethical to keep a horse alive when you know that it is going to die. However, Hari explains that whereas Paddy sees people as friends, he sees them as customers.

Marlon finds Steph at the B&B in such a deep sleep that he can’t wake her. She begins to stir and tells Marlon that Adam administers her pills. Marlon informs Turner that he is concerned about Steph and Alan’s worry grows over Adam’s involvement with Steph. Meanwhile, Steph asks Adam if she can stop taking the pills but, with a menacing tone, he refuses. How will Steph react as her situation becomes more desperate?

Elsewhere, Paddy tells Katie and Andy that it’s not in Jonas’ best interests to be kept alive and the horse is put down. Paddy thanks Toni for her support over the last few days and tells her that he’s glad to have a mate like her. Is it becoming evident that Toni is starting to see Paddy as more than just a friend?

Meanwhile, TJ sees Jean and Terry kissing. Terry is asked to work for Tom on his day off and has to take TJ in with him. TJ is drawing a picture when Edna notices that he has drawn a picture of a couple kissing. Jean quickly snatches the picture, arousing Edna’s suspicions.

Turner, Marlon and Betty arrive at the B&B for a surprise belated wedding party for Steph and Adam. Steph is clearly on edge and struggles to maintain her composure. She has a flashback to the night Adam murdered Terence and freaks. Adam manages to calm her and puts her to bed but Turner’s concern increases.

After the guests have left Steph declares that she can’t cope with the lies and plans to confess. Panicked, Adam reminds her that they could go to prison. Seeing Adam panicked, Steph says that she is prepared to shoulder the blame as she loves him so much. Will she go through with the confession?

Elsewhere, Jean flirts with Tom. Tom later confesses to Terry that he’s thinking about asking Jean out. Terry tells Jean about Tom’s plan and is alarmed when Jean says that she will accept. Jean promises that it is only to divert people away from their relationship, but Terry worries about Dawn finding out as she comes out of prison the following day.

Adam tries one last time to persuade Steph not to confess to Terence’s murder but to no avail. Steph and Adam go round to see Turner and she blurts out that she killed Terence. Steph leads Turner to where Terence’s body is buried, but as they approach the woodlands a chilling shock awaits them.

Elsewhere, Jean enjoys her date with Tom, but makes an excuse to cut the night short. Jean tells Terry that she misunderstood Dawn’s point of view and that she would be hurt if they were together.

However, they end up in bed and when a flushed Jean returns to Connelton View, Dawn assumes that Tom put a smile on her face. Will Jean correct her?

Steph hasn’t slept overnight and Adam suggests to Turner that psychiatric help is needed. Steph loses control after seeing Adam’s face and lashes out, striking him. Turner realises Adam is right. The psychiatrist confirms Adam’s diagnosis of Steph and explains that she needs to stay in hospital under careful observation.

As Turner and Adam go to leave, Steph begs her father to stay with her. It wrenches Turner to leave his sobbing daughter. As the realisation of what he has done starts to hit him, Adam begins to break down. Will Turner, unaware of the real reason behind Adam’s guilt, assure him that what he has done is for the best?

Also, Ivan complains to Matthew about working for the Kings, saying that he feels undervalued and in a rut. Ivan suggests he’d be happy to take a job with Matthew, and annoy Carl into the bargain. Seeing this as a way to get one over on his estranged family once more, will Matthew happily agree?
