Nothing lasts forever

It was a nice warm summers day in the middle of June and Kylie Jones was walking her golden labrador Caramel in the park with her best friend Kate Byford, no one really liked Kate but she never understood why however Kylie really made an effort with her when she met her Kate and Kylie were inseperable every week they would take it in turns to go to eachothers houses and when one of them went away they would always ask the other.

A couple of months after meeting eachother they met another girl Millie Cartwright they all got on so well and Millie was soon being included in holidays and sleep overs to you wouldnt have known that Millie joined the girls later.

One day in July Kylie went on holiday and as usual Millie and Kate went along with her they had a great time swimming at least once a day relaxing in the sun and generally chilling out together but their happiness was short lived.

The girls had a fantastic two weeks away but then when they got back a new person was at school named Sarah, Kylie got on really well with Sarah mainly because they shared the same interests however Millie and Kate didnt get on with her so well but they knew they had to pretend they did or all hell would break lose and their friendship with Kylie could end up ruined forever so thats exactly what they did.

Sarah soon started joining in with everything the 3 friends did and although Kate and Millie didnt mind they did feel as if they was being replaced a bit but how could they tell Kylie, Kylie loved Sarah they had the kind of relationship that Kate and Carly had once had together.

The further Kylie pushed Kate away the closer Kate and Millie got, Kate didnt mind being closer to Millie but why did she have to lose Kylie aswell, Kylie had helped Kate through so much trauma and pain she should have known better than anyone how this would feel to Kate but Kylie obviously didnt care.

Things started getting really bad Kate was sure she was going to lose Kylie to Sarah and the more she thought about it the more wound up she got but funnily enough other than Millie it was Sarah who Kate felt was the only one she could talk to.

It had been a hard couple of months and Kate had planned to go and stay with Kylie but Kylie invited Sarah aswell, sadly Millie couldnt go as she was on holiday that week with her friend. Kate knew before she went that if Sarah was going then Kylie and Sarah would leave her out but Millie was sure tey wouldnt and kept telling Kate that she would have a fantastic time, Kate hoped so but she still wasnt sure.

The day Kate went to Kylie's she was still so worried she wouldnt enjoy it but she tried so hard to believe what Millie had said but she was keeping it in mind that she needed to be prepared for Millie to be wrong, but nothing could prepare her for what happened during that week.
