I agree. I was pleased to read Family Affairs got an award at this years British Soap Awards. Not many of the smaller populated soaps - such as this or Hollyoaks get a look in - what with Corrie or EastEnders winning dozens of awards, oh and Emmerdale too if lucky.

I read in one of this weeks soap magazines that trish ends up in hospital and when eileen goes to see her, trish reveals that she wants pete and eileen to adopt her baby! eileen considers the idea but then she finds out that trish is aslo blackmailing another woman saying that her baby boy is aslo the baby of her husband too, who will she believe?

im not a 100% sure, but knowing trish i bet she'll have yet another plan up her sleeve by offering pete and eileen her baby, who says its even pete's? but i somehow think it will be, as at the moment not many are believing in trish, so i think family affiars will make a twist by actually having pete as the dad.
