“ Sharon, what did you say ?!? “ says Phil.
“ I said I’m coming back to Walford. America can get stuffed.” I say.
“ I’m more than happy to see you back, Sharon” says Phil.
“ That’s good then, I want to come home” I reply
“ Sharon, are you sure about this ?” says Phil.
I wipe my tears.
“ Certain , absolutely positive” I reply.
“ Thinking of Walford makes me think of people I love. There’s Mum, Dad and there… there..there is Dennis” I stutter. I burst into tears.
“ Sharon please don’t cry” says Phil.
“Phil are you crying ?!? “ I exclaim.
“ Um, yeah. You have made me cry Sharon, I don’t like seeing you upset “ cries Phil.
“ I will see you soon then” I say
“ Take care Sharon “ says Phil
“ I will” I reply

Part 27

I look back on my empty flat. This place has caused me nothing but trouble. I came to start a new life here. How could I have been happy without the one thing that I love. Dennis, I will never stop loving you, you will always be in my heart..
“ Come on Mia, let’s go” I say.
I pick up Mia’s changing bag. Hanging out of it is the teddy bear that Dennis bought for our baby. Sharon, don’t cry. I carefully put the teddy bear safely into my hand luggage.
“ Mummy” says Mia.
“ Mia and Mummy are going on an adventure. Won’t it be fun? “ I say holding back my tears.
I walk through the hall and close the door behind. Goodbye America, Hello Walford.

Part 28

I step out of the black cab, Walford doesn’t look any different. Same smell, same houses, same atmosphere you get the drift. There is new people, I don’t recognise them. Where has the community gone. There is some place, I would like to go before I show my face.
I walk into Walford Cemetery. I sure this place has got fuller. People are always dying these days. I walk over to Dennis grave. Looks just like it did a year ago.
“ Baby, it’s Sharon.” I say.
“ I brought Mia with me, just to say hello”
” She doesn’t understand any of this Dennis. Dennis, I really miss you, I need you here” I say.
I feel the tears trickling down my face.
“ I need you here to keep me warm at night, I want us to snuggle up in front of the TV again. Dennis, I miss these days *sigh* I wish you would come back to me. “ I cry.
“ I promise you I will make you proud. Raise your little girl to the best she can be. Dennis, you will always be in my heart. I love you for forever, I mean it!”
