Jamie confronts Danny over Mike's death

An ambulance speeds into the Street and the paramedics check Mike’s vital signs but it is too late, he has gone. Danny is very distressed and tries to find out what Mike said before he died. Danny ends up going to the Rovers and it’s not long before everyone is reminiscing about Mike. Vera gets very upset and says to Jack that she thought Mike would live forever, seeing that he already had the best of everything in his life. But things take a turn for the worse when an angry Jamie arrives in the pub after going to pay respects at the hospital. He rages that Danny should have all of Mike’s personal possessions as he has already got everything else that belonged to him as well. Danny is shocked by his son’s bitterness and tries to reason with him, but a distraught Jamie runs from the pub with Frankie in tow.

Joanne gives Kelly some money to buy her a handbag just like the one Kelly has got. When Kelly gives Joanne her new bag later, Becky assumes it’s a present and is furious. She spies Joanne leaving the Rovers and has a nasty go at her about it. Joanne is shocked.

And elsewhere in Weatherfield, Liz gets increasingly paranoid about Vernon and Michelle and follows them to a flat to try and catch them out. What does Liz discover?

Leanne stumbles across Mike's will

Adam is disgusted that Danny has opened the factory, and when he finds out that Danny is planning the funeral he is even angrier. Leanne gets a surprise visit form Janice to admits she is finding life hard in London, so Leanne invites her to stay with her and Danny. Later on, Leanne takes it upon herself to start packing up Mike’s belongings. She is shocked when she discovers a new will hidden in an atlas that has been drawn up in Spain, therefore postdating the will that he wrote leaving everything to Danny. The new will leaves everything to Adam. What does Lady Macbeth Leanne do with it?

Elsewhere in Weatherfield, Tyrone get cold feet when Molly tries to get passionate with him and she is more disappointed when he makes an excuse not to see her tonight. She confides in Vera that she thinks Tyrone has gone off her, but Vera is sure that he is just being a gentleman.

And Liz doesn’t want to spoil Vernon’s (Ian Reddington) fun but she finally admits she doesn’t like the flat that he has found for them, so they decide to scour the property columns together.

Also, over in Underworld, Joanne is unnerved to spot Becky shooting her dirty looks. Joanne eventually warns Kelly that she has been getting lots of aggro from Becky and thinks she is a bit of a nutter!

Molly worries about Tyrone

Over in the Quays, a worried Leanne shows Janice the will and tries to call Danny about it but his phone is engaged. Janice realises that they are the only ones who know about this will so if Leanne keeps quiet about it Danny will inherit everything as planned. Cunning Janice continues to explain to Leanne that if she doesn’t tell Danny about the new will she can keep it up her sleeve as insurance. Although Leanne thinks Janice is being cynical she decides to keep quiet for now, especially after Danny talks fondly of Frankie when he gets back to the flat

Molly’s worried that Tyrone has lied about being on call to avoid spending the night with her. They later meet in the Rovers but when she suggests that she suggests they go back to hers as her dad is away, he is less than enthusiastic. Jack realises that Tyrone needs some advice so tries to talk to him about Molly, but is less than convinced when Tyrone tells him he wants an old fashioned courtship.

Meanwhile, Liz is thrilled as she and Vernon have finally found a small but perfect love nest. Steve and Ronnie are also pleased that they will have their place to themselves once more.

Leanne shows Danny the will

Leanne is still not sure whether to tell Danny about the will and goes along with Janice’s suggestion to make a photocopy and keep the original. Danny is stunned when Leanne shows him the photocopy and immediately sets about trying to find the original. His reaction makes Leanne realise she has done the right thing keeping the original a secret from him – but she is worried when Danny tells her that anyone could have a copy and they won’t know for certain until Friday who will inherit the business.

Chesney is busy clearing up the house before the visit from the social worker but Cilla is convinced that the whole thing scheme will fall apart once social services discover that Les lied about his criminal record. True to form Les can’t control his temper when the truth comes out and Chesney is convinced they have blown it.

Meanwhile, things go from bad to worse for Cilla when she spots Janice heading towards the Rovers.

Liz is nervous about moving in with Vernon but Steve and Ronnie are looking forward to celebrate having the flat to themselves. Steve has lined up a romantic evening but things don’t go quite to plan…

Tyrone confides in Jack that he is worried about his relationship with Molly developing onto a more physical level, so Jack and Vera hatch a plan to help the youngsters out.


Tyrone kisses Molly

It is the day of the will reading and tension is mounting on Coronation Street. Adam is a little bemused that Danny doesn’t seem to know what the will contains. As the Baldwin and Barlow clan gather at the solicitors’, Danny grows more and more concerned that the new will is about to be revealed. The solicitor starts to read out the last will and testament of Michael Vernon Baldwin and Danny can’t help wondering which ‘last will’ it is going to be. Who will emerge as the winner of Mike’s Empire – Danny or Adam?

Chesney is chuffed that Les has promised to take him fishing as they try to get over the nightmare visit from the social worker. Audrey is not best pleased when Les and Chesney disturb her and Keith’s quiet day by the river and as ever Les manages to get on the wrong side of the law!

It is the eve of her birthday and Gail is worried what tomorrow’s post will bring. The whole Hillman situation is really getting to her but by evening time in the Rovers she is determined to forget her worries and enjoy her special day.

Tyrone is in a state of panic about his proposed night of passion with Molly. He is still concerned that she will go off him once she sees him undressed. Nathan suggests he keep the lights out – will Tyrone let his insecurities ruin a beautiful relationship?
