No, they are both using Zoe to achieve their own goals. And the funniest thing is that she can't see it.

They are both using her, but I don't think they have no feelings - Chrissie did like Zoe and was there for her when Dennis was messing her about and Sam used to be really good friends with Zoe who was there for her when she had her cancer scare - they are more concerned with their own survival though. If they were completely ruthless, they would have found a way to frame her ages ago just to get rid of her and her whining, lol!
