There are numerous other posts/threads re whether or not Karl survives and I think the consensus is that he dies, but is brought back and lives.

yeh. Sindi does take a pole dancing job but then Stu finds ut and says its sweet that she wanted to do it to help him but he cna wait for the reading aid but then he feels he can see some colour so they go to the specialist who tells them they can restore his sight but the operation will cost fifty thousand pounds and i think its then that Sindi goes with that millionaire.

yeh, Karl DEFINITELY SURVIVES!!!! and then breaks up with Izzy but he takes her back again!!! What a fool! cos he was thinking about getting back together with Susan cos he realised he still loved her but then he decided he didnt want to ruin their friendship again so he kept quiet!
