    Chapter 4

Sam and Phil were driving up and down the road Tolden Road trying to find Emma Mill’s house.

“This is ridiculous,” moaned Phil, “we’ve been driving up and down this road for over 10 minutes now and we still haven’t found her house!”

“Look we’ll try once more ok? I mean it must be here somewhere!”

“Why can’t her house have a number like normal places! I mean who calls their home ‘Daisy House’ anyway?”

“Do you have to be so rude?” complained Sam, “There’s nothing wrong with having a name instead of a number. My home when I was a child had a name.”

“Sorry I’m just fed up of going up and down the same stupid street for ages.” Apologised Phil.

They searched the street once more and still couldn’t find the house so decided to head back.

“So what was your house called then?” Phil asked.

“Oh nothing it doesn’t matter. So anyway,” Sam tried to change the subject, “Do you think Lisa Harrington’s having an affair?”

“Seriously what was it called?” Phil persisted.

“Well if you must know it was called “Princess Cottage”,” Sam answered, predicting Phil’s reaction. Phil couldn’t help but laugh. He couldn’t really imagine Sam living in a place called that. She wasn’t really a princess sort of girl.

“Shut up,” said Sam, giving him a playful punch.

After they’d been driving along for a while, Sam was looking out of the window when she suddenly noticed the name of the road that they were passing. She was rather confused.

“Phil, are we going round in circles or something?” she asked.

“Of course not,” he replied, “Funnily enough I do know my way to the station by now. What makes you think that?”

“Well we’ve just passed Tolden Avenue.”

“And….?” Phil was struggling to see Sam’s point.

“Well isn’t that the road we’ve just been driving up and down for ages?”

    “No, that was Tolden Road.”

“Phil you idiot, I said she lived at “Daisy House” on Tolden Avenue,” Sam pointed out, “Avenue not road!”

“No I’m sure you said Road,” he protested.

“Well whatever we’ve been searching the wrong road!” Sam complained. “You’ll have to turn round; Tolden Avenue was just up there.”
When they finally turned onto the correct road they found the house quite easily.

hey sorry it's taken so long to update but I've been pretty busy

    Chapter 5

After the minor mix-up, Sam and Phil finally arrived at Emma Mill’s house. They weren’t speaking to each other as each of them blamed the other for earlier. Sam knocked and a woman opened the door. She was probably in her mid 30’s and had mid-length bleached blond hair.

“Emma Mills?” Sam asked. The woman nodded.

“I’m DS Nixon and this is my colleague DS Hunter,” Sam told her in a slightly bitter tone when referring to Phil, “May we come in and ask you a few questions regarding your friend Lisa Harrington?” Emma nodded and gestured for them to come in.

“Now I believe you spoke to my colleague earlier, DC Masters?” Sam checked

“Yeah and I’ve already told her that I wasn’t with Lisa last night. I don’t really know how much help I can be.”

“It’s alright; we just have a few more questions to ask,” Sam encouraged, “Any thing you say may help us to find her…”

“Did you ever have plans to meet up with Lisa last night?” Phil cut in.

    “No,” Emma replied.

“Do you have any idea where Lisa may have gone?” He asked.

“No,” she repeated, “look so far you’re just asking the same as that other cop.”

“We’re just trying to get a clearer picture of what happened,” Sam explained.

“How long have you two been friends?” Phil asked.

    “Bout a year I suppose.”

“Don’t you think it’s a bit weird that Lisa would tell her husband she was going out with you and then not tell you anything about it?”

“I dunno. She was probably going out to buy him a present of something and just didn’t get round to telling me.” Emma suggested.

“Well you see I don’t think…” Phil began as Sam shot him a stern look.

“DS Hunter!” Sam warned. She found it rather annoying that Phil was acting so accusingly towards Emma. It wasn’t exactly the best way to encourage her to open up to any key information.
“If you don’t mind me asking, how did you and Emma become friends?” Sam asked Emma in a friendlier manner than Phil.

“Umm…we…umm…met through other friends at some party” Emma answered.

“Well ok that’s all we want to ask for now,” Sam told her, “but if you think of anything else that might assist us in finding Emma, however small it is, we would appreciate it if you could either ring the station or pop in and see us.”

“Alright, but I doubt I’ll think of anything.” Emma replied as she showed them to the door.

“Well if you do make sure you let us know,” Phil called after her as she shut the front door.

Sam and Phil both got into the car silently and headed back into the station. They’d been in the car for about 5 minutes when Phil began to speak.
“This is getting ridiculous; we can’t go the whole day without talking. It might help to talk to each other so that we can actually solve this case.”

“Well that’s not really much of a problem now is it due to the fact that I’m actually meant to be working on this case with Jo anyway?!” Sam answered back.

“Fine I won’t help you in the future if that’s the thanks I get!” Phil snapped back at her.

“You were only helping in the first place just so you could out of paper work!”

“Whatever,” Phil replied as Sam turned away to look at the window.

    Chapter 6

Phil and Sam had remained silent for the rest of the journey back to the station. When they got back into CID Phil went back to his desk and Sam went over to Jo.

“Hey Jo, Have you had any luck with phoning Lisa’s friends?” Sam asked.

“Not much,” Jo replied, “Oh except one of her friends did mention that she knew that Lisa had just lost rather a large sum of money and she doesn’t think that the husband knows.”

“Does she know how she lost the money?”

“Apparently Lisa went away with a group of friends to Vegas and got carried away in the casino. When she tried to win back the money she had lost she managed to loose even more.”

“Well done Jo, I think this could well be linked to her disappearance.”

“Where did you and Phil disappear off to earlier?” Jo asked. “I bumped into Emma Keane earlier and she said that she had been looking over the cctv footage with Honey. I though you and Phil were doing that?”

“Oh we went to Emma Mill’s house to see if we could get anymore information from up face to face,” Sam told her.

    “Oh right, any luck?”

“Not particularly,” Sam told her, “I think she may have been holding something back but Phil was acting really accusingly towards her which I think scared her off.”

“Bye the way, Emma Mills was actually one of the friends that Lisa was away with in Vegas,” Jo told her.

“That’s weird, I’m surprised she didn’t tell us that, although she may have if Phil hadn’t of been there,” Sam said bitterly.

“Have you and Phil fallen out or something?” Jo asked.

“We just had a bit of argument due to certain people…” Sam emphasised ‘certain’ whilst glaring in Phil’s direction, “…were capable of driving to the correct road.”

    Zain Nadir wondered over,
“What’s going on here?” he asked, sensing the tension.

“Sam and Phil are having a bit of a domestic,” Jo joked. Sam glared at Jo and then wondered off to find Emma and Honey so she could ask them if they’d found out anything from the cctv footage they’d been looking at.

“Serg,” Jo called after her, “Do you want me to see if I can contact the other friends that Lisa was with in Vegas?”

    “Yeah, alright,” Sam called back.

Thanks for all the nice comments about my script
