No Josh isn't Ashley's son, Ashley was married to Josh's mum Maxine, they were trying for a baby themselves but Ashley had a problem with his fertility, and needed some kind of operation to correct it. While he was in the hospital Maxine had a one night stand with Matt.

When Maxine found out she was pregnant she was unsure who Josh's dad was. Ashley didn't find out about Matt until Maxine was in labour, and was obviously very angry, but did decide to try to make a go of their marriage. He did insist on a blood test though, which is when he found out Josh was Matt's child.

Maxine loved Ashley and just made a mistake with Matt. As far as she was concerned she didn't want Matt in either her or Josh's life.

still a boring storyline like because matt never bothered before so why bother now

I think he has just found out he cant have kids with his new wife, so Josh is his only chance to be a parent

yeah true thats prob why then but he should have acess to josh though

I agree. At the end of the day he is his biological father, and if he pressed it he could probably get full custody.

Well I wouldnt go that far! Ashley has brough Josh up and it would be quite traumatic for him to leave.

know well i definately think matt should see josh when he wants
