Rebekah Gibbs To Leave 09/02/06

After 18 months on the show, actress Rebekah Gibbs, who plays technician Nina, has announced she's leaving. The actress will film her final scenes this May. The show are keeping tight-lipped about Nina's departure this summer.

Rebekah says, "I've had an extremely positive experience working on Casualty and have made some fantastic, life long friends. It has been an honour to work with such a professional team in front of and behind the camera. I'm looking forward to the future and whatever it may hold in TV and stage."

Hmm this isn't good, three paramedics down ?? Wonder what sort of replacements they will get for them ?? Woody,Luke now Nina

As far as I know they are replacing Woody with Sam(going to train as a paramedic), but I dont know about the other two, they'll probably bring in fresh blood!!

I sure hope that they bring in some wise cracking paramedics, some one fun but at the same time serious about what they are doing. Woody was introduced as a womanizer ( remember his first scene in the hot tub?) I sure hope they bring in some one decent !! Seems like the young actors are leaving in fears they may be typecast...

No, Nina can't leave. The cast will be junk be the summer at this rate with all the characters leaving.
