i rad in the Manchester Evening News that hes signed a new coronation street contract and even though he loved singing he would wait to see what time would tell. It could Just be a rumour. I think it would be a mistake to leave now.

If singing is what he wants to do then he should go for it! He is a good actor though.

I think its a shame if he leaves, as i like 'craig' in corrie and i think richard is a fab actor, but then again i do think he has a great voice!

But i would like to see him at corrie a bit longer! x

i really like his acting and he a fab singer so i dont really know but i hope he stays at corrie for a bit longer

Yes he's a great singer, but I think it would be taking a big risk for him to leave Corrie now. He's on excellent wages at the moment, and you don't know how long it would take for his singing career to get off the ground. Of course if Simon Cowell is his manager, he couldn't go far wrong. We'll have to wait and see.

The last year he hasn't had a lot to do in corrie since his dad and sister died and his mum being in prison so if he wants to pursue a singing career good luck to him at least he can sing not like some of them. Maybe he did want to stay on in corrie for a while longer but perhaps the offer was too good to refuse
