Should school ties be banned?

I dont think they should be banned, everyone at my school moans about them but i dont see the big issue, its part of the uniform live with it if it wasnt ties it would just be something else they didnt want to wear anyway i think thye look smart

We'd probably be sent to Remove in my school. IN my school girls don't wear ties, but boys do

now i like that idea

That happened in my best friend's old school but i hate ties i never have them right up the top because i hate it.

If ties are banned in case someone attemps suicide then where do we draw the line. Remove shoe laces, belts, straps from schoolbags ropes from the gym, balls of string etc etc.

If someone wants commit suicide then they will find a way

maybe not baned, just not a necessity. we went from dress code (any black or white t-shirt, any black or white skirt or trousers, any shoes) to annoying school uniform which i guess wouldn't be so bad but we HAVE to wear school ties and it's well annoying

some kids are that stupid tp pull on ties tho in fights !! this happened once at my school and are uniforms were completely changed !!

ok now i know nobosy has posted in this thread for a long time but i just thought id mention that becuase of pulling peoples ties my school might be getting clip on ties
