    deirdre at it again

CORRIE'S Deirdre Barlow is about to get up to her old adultress tricks again - only to be blackmailed after a one-night stand with a stranger.

Anne Kirkbride's character has her drunken fling on a girls' night out.

Liz McDonald (Bev Callard) then persuades Deirdre not to confess all.

But her louse lover visits the town hall where Deirdre, works and says he'll tell hubby Ken (Bill Roache) unless she OKs a planning application.

A source said: "Anne is thrilled at getting such a great new storyline."

In real life, meanwhile, Bev yesterday became a gran at 47 after her daughter Rebecca had a son, Sonny Joshua.

ah Deirdre, you silly woman, you! although you'd think she would get the hint that maybe Ken isn't right for her since she always strays. or maybe they should liven up their ex lives...although that would be a rather scary storyline....

It could be just an one night stand
