The actor who plays fred has asked corrie to kill him off but they are trying to get him to change his mind.

Just wondering - since when is Ashley supposed to lose Joshua? I heard this rumour when Maxine died....and that was around the time of Richard Hillman - how is it still floating around? Surely if it was seriously going to happen, it would have happened by now? Or is it more than just a rumour now? Please somebody, I'm confused

apparently its going to happen soon, march i think i heard. it will be a different actor playing the doctor, so i heard

There is a link on the DS forums where it has been reported the rumours are false. The actor who plays Fred Elliot is not leaving the show.
