Part Four
Jake walked over to the far end of the bar. He noticed someone come and stand next to him. He glanced to his right. It was Chrissie.
"Hey." He said trying to smile.
"Oh Jake. Hi." She said. She turned to the barmaid, "Another vodka please. No ice."
"Are you alright?" He said softly.
"Yeah. I'm Fine. Just fine." She snapped.
She paid the money and downed her drink.
"You don't look fine to me." Jake answered.
"Well I am." She replied. Tears escaped from her eyes.
"You're not. Come on, I'll take you home." He said calmly. He put his arm around her and lead her out of the club.
