She is a fantastic character and certaonly adds a real comedy flavour to Corrie. She really should win an award for best comedy character!

I like it when the soaps have a comedy character in it. Just in the middle of a serious storyline that is dominating the show you can get a bit of light relief from another character with out it seeming out of place.
A soap award for comedy actor or scene would be really good. But i think it would probably be too hard to judge.

I love Blanche too but I wondered if anyone knew the reason why she keeps disappearing from our screens for no apparant reason it can even be in the middle of a major storyline and 'me mams poorley' is the only excuse we get from dreary

Maybe she is gone upstairs with Tracey to do her homework.. that is the excuse they used for years with her
