    A shocked Sunita reels from Dev’s attempt to stop her aborting their twins. She once again seeks out Shelley, who advices her heartbroken friend to talk to Dev. Realising she must confront her husband, Sunita meets up with Dev at their house. A distraught Sunita comes clean and admits to a relieved Dev that she never intended to go through with the abortion, she explains that she was so hurt by Dev’s secrets that she lied about terminating her pregnancy. A desperate Dev tries to justify his actions by asking Sunita to forgive his past, as she and their children are his future. Will Dev’s pleas sway Sunita or has their marriage suffered irreparable damage?

    Elsewhere, pleased that his mum has finally admitted that she is an alcoholic, Jamie sets about trying to arrange some help for his troubled mother. He informs a reluctant Carol that he has arranged for her attend an alcohol support group. Meanwhile, Danny calls round to the house and offers Frankie an olive branch, he proposes the idea of a family trip to Spain to visit Warren. Frankie informs her husband that she will think about it. A bitter Carol overhears the exchange and when Danny has left pours scorn on the idea, persuading Frankie that Danny hasn’t changed and is just trying to worm his way back into her life. The two women form an unlikely alliance and the pair later waste no time in telling Danny to stick his offer. How will Danny react to Carol’s interfering?

    Meanwhile, there’s tension in the Webster household when Sally and Kevin decide to swap roles. Sally decides it’s Kevin’s turn to play the strict disciplinarian of the household whilst she takes on his more relaxed demeanour. How long will their role reversal last and will Rosie and Sophie see straight through the ruse?

    Also, Claire is fed up hearing of Ashley and Nathan’s plans to go boxing training

    After enjoying a cosy breakfast with girlfriend Violet, Jason sets off to work and is pleased when he spots Sarah. The besotted builder can’t help himself and informs a chuffed Sarah that he can’t stop thinking about her. The pair make plans to meet up later. Hatching a plan, Sarah feigns a headache at the hair salon and sneaks off home to have a romantic liaison with Jason. Knowing she has Jason right where she wants him, Sarah demands to know if he is going to finish with Violet. Wanting his wicked way with her, Jason confirms that it is Sarah he wants and that he intends to dump the unsuspecting Violet.

    Satisfied that they are officially an item, Sarah leads a lustful Jason to the bedroom. However, they are disturbed when David returns from school. Is the game up for the deceitful pair?

    Elsewhere, Dev is crushed to receive papers from Sunita’s solicitor demanding a divorce. He seeks out his wife at the Rovers to plead with her not throw their marriage away. Sunita is steely in her resolve and the exchange soon turns heated. Shelley steps in when she sees Sunita is getting upset and asks Dev to leave. Later, when Sunita has composed herself, she pays Dev a visit at the cornershop. Dev is pleased to see her, believing she has come to talk about reconciliation. Has Sunita reconsidered her demand for a divorce or is she about to sever all lines of
    communication with Dev?

    Meanwhile, Carol is suffering from alcohol withdrawal symptoms and lashes out at Frankie when she asks how she is coping? Frankie is finding Carol’s erratic mood swings difficult to handle and goes to see Danny in order to enlist his help in dealing with Carol. Danny takes the opportunity to try to build bridges with his emotionally drained wife. Can Danny begin to make amends or has Carol’s recovery become Frankie’s main concern?

    Also, Fred is aghast to find Rosie and Craig have chained themselves to the door of his butchers shop in a pro-vegetarian protest, and Molly gets Kirk drunk.

    8:30 pm
    Having been caught out by David, Jason and Sarah panic when he threatens reveal all to an unsuspecting Violet. Sarah is more relaxed about the situation believing that Jason will now be forced to end things with his current girlfriend and go public with their secret relationship. However, a confused Jason appears to want to keep both women in tow and he gives in to David’s blackmail demand when he hands over twenty pounds in order to buy the devious schoolboy’s silence. Later, an uncomfortable Jason struggles to keep his emotions in check when Sarah flirts with him at the Rovers, whilst Violet works a few feet away behind the bar. How long can Jason continue to juggle the two women his life?

    Meanwhile, Dev and Sunita’s friends their offer support during their current plight. Bev advices Sunita not to be too hasty in severing all ties with the father of her babies and Fred pays Dev a visit in order to persuade him not to give up on Sunita. Will their friends counselling help the warring pair to see sense, or are they destined for the divorce court?

    Elsewhere, having been thwarted in their protest at Fred’s butchers shop. A determined Rosie and Craig hatch another “porky” plan to persuade the residents of Weatherfield to stop eating meat.

    Also, Fiz is troubled by Molly’s increasing influence on boyfriend Kirk.

    The recent events in David’s life push him over the edge. Having being deserted by his own father, the schoolboy holds resentment towards Phil’s relationship with his mum Gail and the angry young man is further frustrated by Sarah’s illicit affair with Jason. So, when Jason rebuffs David’s attempt to extort any further money from him the red mist descends and David launches an attack on Jason, swinging wild punches which the bemused builder manages to fend off. David is pushed to the floor as Jason defends himself.

    The clash is witnessed by Sarah, Charlie and Phil who step in to break it up. A devious David later tells Gail that it was Jason who attacked him first and Gail wastes no time in calling the police. As Jason faces a barrage of questions about the incident will he come clean about the true motives behind David’s attack? And if so, is Violet about to hear all about her boyfriend’s two-timing ways?

    Meanwhile, Fiz and Kirk make their peace with each other. Fiz apologises for being so bossy to him and promises to let Kirk have a more equal say in their relationship. Molly is disappointed to hear that the pair have resolved their differences and persuades Kirk that Fiz is still manipulating him. With Molly’s poisonous words still ringing in his ears, Kirk sets off in search of Fiz. Has Molly’s revenge driven plan worked? Has she finally managed to drive a wedge between Kirk and Fiz?

    Elsewhere, Dev is finding life without Sunita difficult and his melancholy mood is not helped when Deirdre and Tracy come into the shop. Wasting no opportunity to twist the knife, Tracy can’t help but make bitchy comments about Dev’s predicament. Ashamed at her daughter’s lack of compassion, Deirdre later returns to the shop to apologises and finds herself comforting a downbeat Dev.

    Also, Rosie and Craig are dismayed to find that Keith has sold the pigs he was rearing to Fred Elliott. It seems that despite the teenagers’ best efforts, the pink porkers are still up for the chop.

    The fallout from his fight with David continues to haunt Jason, as girlfriend Violet quizzes him about David’s motives for the attack. Keeping the truth from her, Jason covers his tracks by saying the incident was linked to the bad history between the two families. Sarah, however, doesn’t care who knows about her and Jason and fails to stop David when he teases Bethany about Jason being her new daddy. Not realising the implications of her words, Bethany later blurts out that she doesn’t want Jason as her new daddy. Gail hears her granddaughter’s concerns. Has Sarah and Jason’s affair finally been exposed?

    Meanwhile, after speaking with a shattered Dev the previous evening, Deirdre appeals to Sunita to give marriage another chance. Sunita is incredulous, She’s not going to take advice from one of Dev’s previous conquests. Later, as Sunita informs Shelley of Deirdre’s visit, the stressed expectant mother doubles up in agony. Fearing the worst, Sunita is taken to hospital for tests. She is joined by a concerned Shelley and Bev (Susie Blake) and the trio nervously await the results. Has the stress of the recent events put the health of Sunita’s babies in jeopardy?

    Elsewhere, Sunita’s brother Jayesh, pays Dev a visit at the shop. He wastes no time in letting Dev know his feelings and punches him to the ground. Dev reels from this latest confrontation and is left alone to reflect what a mess his life has turned into?

    Also, Les is delighted when Cilla returns from their honeymoon, and Claire and Tracy cross swords when Tracy refuses to pay her taxi fare believing she is exempt from paying as Steve owns Streetcars.

    With Gail still reeling from the previous evenings revelations she angrily confronts her daughter about her relationship with Jason. Gail pleads with Sarah to reconsider her actions as Jason is already involved with Violet. Sarah retorts informing Gail that Jason is going to dump Violet but when Gail questions why Jason hasn’t already given her the push Sarah decides to take matters into her own hands. She storms across the road and hammers on the Grimshaws’ door. A petrified Jason opens the door and is frozen to the spot as an emotional Sarah screams at him to come clean. Hearing the commotion, Violet rushes to join Jason on the doorstep and as she takes in the scene, quickly realises what’s been going on behind her back. How will Violet react to Jason’s infidelity? Is this the end for Jason and Violet?

    Meanwhile, when Claire sees Deirdre out with granddaughter Amy, she enquires about Amy’s health, explaining to a worried Deirdre that Amy’s recent cough could be something more serious such as whooping cough. Taking Claire’s concerns on-board, Deirdre dashes off to Weatherfield general to get Amy checked out. When Deirdre returns much later she informs a stunned Tracy that despite Claire‘s fears Amy has nothing more than a simple cough. Tracy is gobsmacked to hear of Claire’s interfering. With the recent spats between the two women, it’s clear that Claire has not heard the last of this.

    Elsewhere, Fiz quizzes Cilla about her holiday with best friend Yana and is shocked to hear that her wayward mother stayed faithful to Les throughout the whole trip. Refusing to believe her mother has turned over a new leaf she presses Yana, who reveals that Cilla did indeed remain faithful but not through a lack of trying. Yana explains that Cilla is depressed, fearing she may have lost her pulling power.

    Having walked out on Jason, a devastated Violet seeks solace and shelter at the Rovers where she’s in good company joining Sunita and Shelley who all have good reason for having a low opinion on men at the moment. Her mood is not helped when she later overhears a triumphant Sarah bragging to Molly in the bar that she had snogged Jason earlier in the day. So, it’s with a heavy heart that Violet calls in at the Grimshaw’s to pick up the rest of her belongings. Whilst doing so she berates her so called friend Sean for not telling her about Jason’s two timing, after ascertaining that Eileen and Sean had known of the affair for some time. The emotionally drained barmaid returns to work where she finds Jason sharing a drink with another love rat Charlie. Jason takes this opportunity to apologise again and begs Violet to give him one last chance. Will Jason’s desperate pleas sway Violet or has time been called in Jason’s last chance saloon?

    Elsewhere, another Weatherfield couple’s relationship looks set to hit the rocks. After not hearing from Fiz since he asked for some space, Kirk (Andrew Whyment) believes that it has given his girlfriend the shock she needed in order for her to stop being so controlling. He confides his feelings in Molly, who, sensing that Kirk is about to patch things up with her old enemy, plays her trump card. She persuades the gullible Kirk that it’s obvious that Fiz doesn’t care for Kirk other wise she’d have tried to make contact with him. Kirk blindly agrees with Molly and acting on her advice promptly dumps Fiz? Has Molly finally achieved her aim and got revenge on her old tormentor?

    Meanwhile, as Ashley and Nathan prepare for their upcoming boxing session, the pair meet up in the pub. There is a frosty atmosphere as they are joined by their respective partners Claire and Tracy. The men are helpless as they watch Tracy waste no time in taunting the usually mild mannered taxi driver. Acid tongued Tracy’s jibes come thick and fast until Claire reaches breaking point. Will she let the florist continue to insult her or will Claire’s out of character reaction put the dampeners Tracy’s verbal tirade?

    Also, Les is thrilled when Cilla agrees to legally marry him.
