Thanks guys - its all changed again though lol

I spoke to my midwives this morning as I was concerned about what exactly was going to happen on the 30th Nov. Anyway, in basic terms, the only reason (according to the hospital) that they were going to induce me was because i am classed as "rapid labour", so they basically were going to try and prevent me doing what i do naturally for no other reason than to make sure i was in hospital when the baby is born!!!!

So the midwives have told the hospital that this is not going to happen. I have to go to my appointment still and confirm for definite that this was the only reason why they were going to do the induction, but then its the waiting game again, so we shall be waiting and seeing.

The midwives dont think i will go to 40 weeks anyway though, but they are bringing a home birth kit on saturday and we are going to see how it goes. They were really annoyed that the hospital were trying to intervene medically in a process which I apparently do almost perfectly lol

lol - yeah, i hope so

Apparently, because Ste was 1hr 15min and Ci was 1hr 20min total (first thru third stages) they think this one might be even quicker!!!

Hopefully I'll have had him/her before even realising I am in labour

My quick labours are great in the respect that it doesnt go on for ages, but on the downside, theres no chance for pain relief, i started haemorraging quite bad with Ci when I was in labour, because he was coming so fast and then once both were born, went into shock for a bit, so couldn't have my post birth cup of tea (lol)!! Still I would rather that than a drawn out 36 hr labour like my mum had with me and my brother for sure...
