Sunday, 13th November
Despite her desperate text messaging, Sarah has failed to distract Jason from making up with Violet. Realising she needs to be a bit cleverer, Sarah hits upon the idea of asking Jason for a quote for some new storage units at the house. Like a moth to the flame, Jason is drawn to the Platts’ but not before first lying to Violet about where he is going. When he arrives at the Platts’ it’s obvious that Sarah has made an effort with her appearance. Jason tries to concentrate on measuring up but with Sarah moving closer to him, the tension mounts. Will history repeat itself?
Carol is back sober and confident and on the face of it seems to have cleaned up her act. She invites Jamie out for dinner to show her son that she is a changed woman. Frankie also goes along but she starts to feel left out as the reformed Carol and delighted Jamie bond more.
Elsewhere, Sunita agrees to help Dev with Amber, as her mum Ravinder is still in hospital. But still in the dark as to Amber’s true identity, Sunita is puzzled to find a cosy photograph of Dev and Ravinder together at her flat.
And David struggles to come to terms with his parents’ new found relationships.
Monday, 14th November, 19:30
Sunita is extremely puzzled by the discovery of the photo of Dev at Ravinder's flat and nags him for an explanation. Dev tries and fails to persuade Sunita to drop the subject of the photograph but won't be drawn on it anymore. Sunita is determined to get to the bottom of it and goes to Ravinder's bedside at the hospital. Ravinder is very defensive but Sunita demands to know the truth about her relationship with Dev. But she is stunned when Ravinder reveals a secret Dev has been keeping for years.
Newly sober Carol is enjoying the company of some of the factory girls in the Rovers but is determined to stick to water. Sobriety doesn't stop her having a go at Leanne though, and twisted Janice decides to get revenge by buying Carol a double vodka. Will Carol fall off the wagon?
Unaware of his dalliance with Sarah, Violet is confused by Jason's mood swings. She confides in Shelley about his weird behaviour but Shelley tries to reassure her that Jason does care about her and that he just needs time for things to get back to normal. But Jason has had another visit by the alluring Sarah and Charlie soon twigs that Sarah fancies him!
And Jamie makes another date with Joanne.
Monday, 14th November, 20:30
Ravinder tries to sugar the bitter pill that Sunita has swallowed, but Sunita is struggling to take in the enormity of the fact that Dev had a child he never told her about. But the worst is yet to come as Ravinder tells her that Amber is not his only child! When Ravinder tells her about another woman ’Sandra’ from Dev's Gorton shop, Sunita is in torment. Sunita goes to confront Sandra who twists the knife by telling her all about the two daughters she has to Dev. Sunita can hardly believe what she is hearing when a bitter Sandra tells her to also contact Shareen at the Openshaw shop. Later Sunita comes face to face with Shareen, complete with babe in arms. Surely this isn’t another one of Dev’s children?
Jamie had been so thrilled when his mum appeared to have cleaned up her act but one night at the Rovers has put paid to that. He is furious and hurt that his mum is half-cut, and despite her pleas he gets her a cab and tells her to go home. Jamie is back at Frankie’s when the door bell goes. Frankie presumes it is his date, Joanne, but it’s Eileen supporting a legless Carol. Looks like Jamie's plans to get on with his life will have to be put on hold yet again.
Jason sees Sarah on the way home from work and they both share a sexually charged look. Back at home and feeling confused he starts an argument with Violet and stomps off to the Rovers. Will he be able to choose between lust and love?
Wednesday, 16th November
Devastated Sunita needs a friend, and seeks out Shelley to pours her heart out. Dev arrives at the pub and explodes at Sunita for leaving him for things that happened years ago. Sunita is equally as incensed and screams at him to go back to his stable of brood mares. She won’t be the latest in line and he will not ever see his precious babies as she is going to abort them. Will Dev manage to talk his wife around?
Jason starts work at the Platts’ but it seems that work is the last thing on his mind once he claps eyes on Sarah. The deceitful pair are almost caught out when Gail arrives home but she doesn’t suspect anything. When Sarah offers to drop the money off at the builders’ yard for the work, Jason cannot contain himself any longer and kisses her passionately.
Carol has hit rock bottom and Jamie doesn’t know what to do. He still feels responsible for her and seeing how confused and desperate he is, Frankie (Debra Stephenson) finds herself making Carol a surprising offer.
Friday, 18th November
Sunita admits to Shelley she threw the abortion idea at Dev in the heat of the moment to hurt him. She feels as though she doesn’t know her husband anymore. Meanwhile Dev is over at the new house and breaks down when the two cots arrive. He calls his solicitor and sets about applying for an injunction to prevent Sunita from aborting the twins.
Carol is left alone at Frankie's and is pacing the room knowing full well there is half a bottle of wine in the fridge. After giving in to temptation and worried about being found out she tops the bottle up with water. Jamie plans another date with Joanne but Carol is in a bad state again and Jamie smells alcohol on her breath. After a showdown between mother and son she finally admits that she must be an alcoholic.
Claire takes her car in to the garage for repair, so Nathan has to cancel Tracy's offer of an afternoon of passion. How will Tracy react?
