So who owns the Vic? The pub belonged to Den didn't it? Or was it half Den's and half Chrissie's?

When Den bought the Vic after conning Sam it was only his name on the deeds. Chrissie then pestered Den to sign half of the Vic over to her, but he never did. Then when Chrissie found out about Den getting Zoe pregnant, she plotted to trick Den into signing the whole pub over to her with the help of Amanda. Her plan didn't work out though and after she had killed him she got Amanda to help her forge some documents to get the pub into her name so that she could sell it and leave Walford, telling Amanda that Den had ran off with another woman and that she didn't want to be stuck in the Vic doing exactly as Den would have wanted her to.

So the pub really belongs to Sharon, but as Chrissie forged the documents and told Sharon that Den signed the whole pub over to her the night he 'left' as he felt guilty, as Sharon then thought that Chrissie owned half of the Vic, which she didn't.

Den did sign the papers to give Chrissie half the Vic. BBC episode summary:

Chrissie presents Den with the paperwork to make her a partner in the Vic. Den's preoccupied with a flooded toilet so he signs. Later, Johnny offers him the services of the club's plumbers.

It was to get the whole of the Vic that was the forged papers.

But this is soap land we talking about- so they are not going to do everything the correct way as Amanda does not know that Den is died she thought he ran off with another women- load of people Forged signares, Amanda is from Spain so it might be different there

Well if Marcus Christie could do so many dodgy things for the Mitchells and keep his position then I dont see why Amanda shouldnt. Then again this is soapland where anything can happen.

Yes I think it will be Sharon's. If Chrissie goes to prison she won't be able to claim it, and Sharon is Den's daughter legally.

I also think it would be a nice gesture for Chrissie to tell Sharon that Den was still thinking about her before he died. It didn't matter what happened between Sharon and Den, Den always loved Sharon.
