Casualty actor axed

Casualty producers have decided to axe Will Thorp from the show.

The actor, better known as paramedic Woody Joyner, will be written out as part of a dramatic Christmas storyline. Bosses apparently made the decision because the character failed to connect with viewers.

"We thought he'd be a big hit. He's a great actor and gets on well with everyone. But if viewers aren't keen we must make a cut,." an insider told The People.

He is popular. How can they axe him? My favourite characters seem to go from Casualty at christmas; Jim and now Woody. I am sure Patrick went near christmas. They need to listen to the viewers
