That really annoyed me. They could ahve at least filmed an exit scene don't you think? and now everybodys acting as if he never existed.

I thought he just left as well. He left Jack in charge to go and see his dad or some one who is ill or dead, his dad or who ever owns a farm and he ran the farm for them. He really liked the farm and the style of life and he wanted to move up there perminantly with the family, but lin didn't want to and Jack had lost the business, so there was no money. Lin and Joe split up. How could he have got sacked from his own business?

he shuld have had a leaving storyline - apparently he was made to collect his things and escorted off the premisies there and then

Yeah I read that in Inside Soap think i also read that he's taking then to court for unfair dissmissal
