the awards are being announced as we speak, some have alreayd been leaked, other to be announced soon:

unfortunatley lacey turner has not won the best newcomer award: anthony cotton (sean tully in corrie) has won it!

this has annoyed me immensley: lacey is an actress, a good one at that: she puts on a role, where as anthony cotton is camp in real life so he is being himself! he has not contributed as much as lacey, shes worked her socks off and deserves that award!

Digital Spy: friends are texting friends who are posting the results on there, Paul O Grady has beat Neighbours for best Daytime Show! ( well deserved IMHO)

I agree. i think he has won several awards over her i think if i can rember. or i know he won one at the british soap awards didnt he? i think Lacey is a brilliant actress and concindering her age she has to try a lot harder than him i think. i prefere Stacey to Sean and if you think about it that all comes down to the actor/Actress. (as well as the make up of the character) but i think she does a much better job and like you say she has to put on much more of a role than he does as i dont think Lacey is anything like Stacey in the way that Stacey is quite outgoing and tough. she deserves it.
