If that episode doesn't deserve an award, then i dont know what does. Fantastic acting by the actor that plays Sam, and the actress who played Alice, in particular. It was a truely touching, emotional, flawless episode

I agree. It has to be one of the most dramatic well acted episodes of any of the soaps this year. The research was first class and the cast derserve to win prizes for that. No doubt they wont which just goes to show how useless the so called awards shows are. Total realism.

It is a close contender for the episode where Grace Hutchinson died in Hollyoaks, which in my opinion is still the best episode of any soap so far this year.

Well as you all know by now I'm always a day behind, so I still have that wonderful episode to watch and of course I will be commenting on it.
Going briefly back to Sunday's episdoe -

The scenes with Alice in her bed in the Dingles living room where she was making a video for Sam were very moving. The end scene with just Alice and Sam was very touching also, poor Sam he just didn't know what to do. It's a terrible thing to watch a loved one suffer knowing that there isn't a thing you can do to help, it must be even worse having to make the decision to help them die. I think it's the afteramth more than anything, the guilt you feel even though you know you did the right thing. How on earth would Sam cope?

    On a lighter note Matt/Sadie.

Well we are seeing more of a darker side to the lovely Matthew King's character now one which I believe he didn't even realise he had himself. The scene where Sadie was going on at him refleced this when he grabbed her and threatened to make her disappear and told her that she knows that he would get away with it as it would be covered up. Matthew himself looked totally shocked as he let her go and Sadie once Matt had left looked scared.

    Excellent Episode.

A Very Sexy and Brilliant Actor

Last night was truey an amazing episode, especially when he said, I waited till the end. I was blubbing my eyes out. It was really realistic and the shots were so well filmed of Marlon Alice Sam at the end when the music was playing in the background.

to emmerdale - the new best soap on the box

a simply superb episode, none of this sex or violence...just a realisitc, emotional and moving epsiode, with quality writing and quality acting. This certainly is one of 2006's finest soap moments, and truely worthy of an award.

OMG what a sad and dramatic episode. It showed why Emmerdale is the best soap at present.
