Westlife are hoping to record a duet with Michael Jackson.

The band's upcoming album 'Face To Face' features duets with Mariah Carey and Diana Ross, and they are keen to continue involving other artists in their work.

Their manager Louis Walsh told CD:UK: "Michael Jackson is an inspiration and we are approaching him. The boys have sung with Diana Ross and Mariah on their new album.

"So we thought, 'Who next?' Jackson would be great."

The album will be released on October 31 preceded by single 'You Raise Me Up' on October 24.
