    My youngest would love pets, he is allergic to rodents and I hate cats - I am petrified of them. Plus as I work and everyone is out all day it wouldn't be fair to have a dog. To be honest I am not keen on the idea of taking dogs for walks in the rain and dark etc. I know that the novelty would wear off quickly for the kids and it would be left to me and my husband...

    my dog refuses to go out in the rain and she is terrified of the dark!!! She just crosses her legs lol
