MONDAY
Jean Slater uncovers Dean Wicks' evil scheme to keep daughter Jade Green close
Jean Slater is shocked when she discovers that Jade Green is out of hospital already and back in the Square.
Things looked bad for teenager Jade, who is recovering from a lung transplant, after she collapsed with a chest infection at the charity auction.
When a reporter from The Gazette asks her dad Dean Wicks for an interview, he asks Jean to look after Jade.
Despite the rapist's attempt to avoid the reporter from doing any digging, Dean's name is blackened by his victim Linda Carter's son Johnny Carter, who offers to tell the reporter exactly what kind of man Dean is!
Left alone with Jade, a suspicious Jean gently questions her, wanting to find out if something untoward is going on.
Jade is no idea that her scheming dad Dean has put her life at risk by secretly emptying the cases of her antibiotics down the sink, to keep her ill so she can't move away to Pakistan with her mum.
When Jean discovers the empty pill cases she is HORRIFIED and tries to hustle Jade out of the door, determined to take her home to the Slaters where she'll be safe.
Dean walks in and demands to know what's going on.
Is Jean in danger?
Zack Hudson is feeling guilty following his misguided drunken attempt to kiss Lauren Branning! After falling out with pregnant girlfriend Whitney, Zack moved in for a smooch when a kind Lauren gave him a chance to have a heart-to-heart.
The couple had been spending time in Milton Keynes visiting Whitney's step mum Bianca Jackson. Frustrated with Whitney's obsession over taking care of local latchkey kid Britney, Zack left Whitney behind to return to the Square alone when she refused to leave.
Zack was upset when she went behind his back to tell Britney's social worker that they wanted to foster her. With Whitney FINALLY due to return, Zack arranges a welcome home baby shower.
Terrified that Whitney will find out about his almost kiss with her best mate, he's awkward when he invites Lauren to the party along with her sister Penny Branning.
Lauren senses that Zack is on edge and pays him a visit, promising to keep quiet about what happened for Whitney and the baby's sake.
Things take an unexpected turn when Whitney arrives home with Britney in tow, revealing that she's her new foster mum. Zack is furious that she didn't tell him!
Callum Highway is feeling hurt that husband Ben Mitchell appears not to have bothered arranging anything for his birthday.
Instead of voicing how he feels, he makes out he's not bothered to save face. When Jay Brown and Lexi Pearce give Ben an ear bashing for not doing something special for Callum, Ben decides to throw him a surprise party.
Callum walks in to his birthday bash and is genuinely surprised and touched by the effort that Ben has gone to.
Things take a shocking turn, however, when the police turn up to arrest Ben...
Also, Ravi Gulati is jealous when his ex Priya Nandra-Hart gets flirty with Martin Fowler. Elsewhere, Denzel is expecting a special delivery as his fitness obsession grows.
TUESDAY
Ben Mitchell could be looking at jail time
Ben Mitchell is in shock after being arrested at his husband Callum Highway's surprise birthday party!
After being marched out of the pub while his gobsmacked family and friends look on, he tries to reassure his terrified daughter Lexi Pearce before being whisked away to the police station.
Questioned by the police about a previous crime, Ben protests his innocence.
Back in the Square, Ben's parents Phil Mitchell and Kathy Cotton start shouting the odds, with Jay Brown chipping in. When Lexi finds them fighting, she demands to know what's going on.
Phil puts a call in to his longtime solicitor Ritchie, saying that Ben needs her help and Ritchie soon arrives in the Square.
Banged up, Ben puts in a call to Phil and he asks him to do something...
What could it be?
Priya Nandra-Hart has taken a liking to market stall holder Martin Fowler and she's made no secret of it!
After getting VERY flirty with Martin, he ended up helping her look for daughter Avani Nandra-Hart, who was playing truant from school.
The recent flirtation hasn't gone unnoticed by Priya's ex, Avani's dad, Ravi Gulati.
Although he's not shown any interest in getting back with a troublesome Priya, who moved in to the Panesars after being found by their son Nugget Gulati. now that Martin is interested it looks like he might be getting a bit jealous.
Not backward in coming forward, Priya asks Martin out on a date, which annoys Avani. She's made up her mind to get her mum and dad back together and she doesn't want Martin getting in the way!
Avani makes out to Ravi that Priya that she's not well to lure him home at the exact same time that Martin is turning up for his date.
When Martin sees Ravi with Priya, he assumes that something's going on between the pair and he makes a swift exit.
What will Priya have to say about Avani's antics?
Whitney Dean is frustrated that Zack Hudson doesn't see that young girl Britney needs their care.
She does, however, feel bad about not telling him she was bringing Britney back from Milton Keynes after finding Britney scrabbling in bins for food and completely neglected by her drug addict mother.
Lauren Branning offers to take Britney while a pregnant Whitney and Zack have a heart-to-heart. They seem to be making progress to resolve things when they return home to build the cot in preparation for the arrival of their baby but they're soon arguing again.
When Lauren brings Britney back to theirs, a fed up Zack leaves them to it. After pouring out her feelings to Lauren, Whitney is pleased when Zack comes back and apologises for his behaviour.
Also, Yolande Trueman clashes with her charge Denzel Danes when she worries about the fitness obsessed teen's diet.
WEDNESDAY
Whitney Dean is hiding something from partner Zack Hudson
Whitney Dean has been at odds with partner Zack Hudson ever since her return to Walford.
The dad-to-be was horrified when pregnant Whitney arrived with neglected kid Britney. Whitney bonded with the young girl when she was staying with step mum Bianca Jackson in Milton Keynes but Zack was worried it was getting obsessive.
Zack has been keen to concentrate on the health and wellbeing of their unborn baby, as Whitney and Zack tragically lost their first daughter Peach to a genetic condition.
Being a neglected child herself, Whitney couldn't let herself abandon Britney and promised her she'd give her a home, despite Zack's disapproval.
When Zack discovers that the young girl has hidden food under her bed he insists they need to tell her social worker.
Britney overhears and explains that she was often left starving by her drug addict mum, which makes her worried about food. Softening, Zack talks to Britney about his own time being fostered when he was a kid and he takes her for a cooking lesson at Walford East.
Meanwhile, Whitney takes a call from social services and when her friend Lauren Branning gets the gist of the conversation she's left concerned.
What is going on?
Lexi Pearce wants to check on her dad Ben Mitchell after his dramatic arrest at husband Callum Highway's birthday party.
When Lexi's stepdad Jay Brown takes her to see Ben at the police station it's all a bit too much for her. After a tense conversation, Lexi tells Jay that she wants to go home.
Back in the Square, a heartbroken Callum is refusing to visit Ben but after Ben's dad Phil Mitchell pleads with Callum not to give up on Ben, he's left with food for thought.
When Ben's mum Kathy Cotton finds out that Phil seems to be keeping something from her to do with Ben's arrest, she heads to the Mitchells to confront him.
What secret is Phil hiding?
Priya Nandra-Hart is NOT happy with daughter Avani Nandra-Hart for trying to interfere in her love life!
When Priya arranged a date with stallholder Martin Fowler, Avani schemed to get rid of Martin so that Priya could spend time with Avani's dad Ravi Gulati instead.
Despite Avani's apparent determination to reunite her parents, Ravi encourages Priya to ignore their daughter's meddling and go on a date with Martin at Walford East.
Ravi and Priya haven't been a couple since the birth of Avani's older brother Nugget Gulati, and after losing touch, Ravi didn't even know he had a daughter until recently!
When Priya asks Martin out to dinner, she's delighted when he accepts. This time their date goes much more smoothly and they're soon enjoying each other's company.
Ravi can see them chatting and laughing but is he really as cool with Priya going on a date as he seems?
Also, Denzel Danes refuses to open up to Yolande Trueman, despite her trying to get to the bottom of his troubles and she refuses to hand him his mystery package.
THURSDAY
Denzel Danes resorts to stealing to get his way
Denzel Danes has been obsessed with getting fit as response to being bullied. The teen was left beaten and humiliated by a gang thugs from school and he felt helpless when they also targeted Yolande Trueman.
Although his best mate Nugget Gulati assured him that there was no shame when he confessed he froze, Denzel couldn't get over it.
He's feeling particularly vulnerable as Yolande is taking care of him alone after his dad Howie Danes and his girlfriend Kim Fox left the Square to take a contract job on a cruise ship.
When former boxing star George Knight encouraged Denzel to take out his anxieties in the ring, he really took to it. But what should have been a healthy way to let out his aggression took a dark turn.
When Denzel was trolled online for his physique after Nugget posted a video of him doing a workout, he felt humiliated all over again.
After Nugget's sister Avani Nandra-Hart made a flippant comment about steroids, he managed to get hold of the cash to order some online.
When the package arrived, it was confiscated by Yolande, who had no idea what it really contained. With Denzel and Yolande at odds, Nugget tries to intervene and put in a good word for his friend but Denzel is about to ruin everything...
Yolande catches Denzel rummaging in her bag to get his precious package.
Will she find out what Denzel is up to before he does something dangerously stupid?
Lauren Branning has found out about Whitney Dean's secret and she insists that she tell her partner Zack Hudson, knowing it could cause huge problems for the pregnant couple.
With Whitney seemingly not willing to listen, Lauren's not sure she's convinced her friend to do the right thing.
It's the night of Lauren's 30th birthday party at The Albert and when she has a conversation with Chelsea Fox, she wonders if she's been too hard on Whitney.
As the party gets underway, Whitney promises Lauren that she'll be upfront with Zack, leaving Lauren relieved.
Avani Nandra-Hart may have got a telling off about trying to matchmake her parents Priya Nandra-Hart and Ravi Gulati but it doesn't mean she's going to back out of her scheming!
Ever since Avani and mum Priya came to the Square after landing an oblivious Ravi with the revelation that he had a teenage daughter, her behaviour has raised a few eyebrows.
Frustrated that Priya has arranged a second date with Martin, Avani is determined to disrupt it.
Their romantic meal is ruined when Avani pours a whole glass of wine in a shocked Martin's lap!
Also, Ben Mitchell's arrest is causing heartache for the family and his copper husband Callum Highway plots to use his work situation to Ben's advantage.
