Martin? Family? Barbecue? Are we going down under to Australia?! I mean, that's where he is currently, and he has family there. A Walford barbecue in March seems unlikely, but also, what family? There are the kids (Lily/Arthur/Hope) or the Beales I suppose? Maybe he comes back with Michelle and/or Vicky?

EDIT; It's a Slater/Fox/Branning barbecue and he's back in Walford on his own, by the look of it. Oh well!

Stacey Slater's BIG secret is found out by Martin Fowler

Stacey Slater feels like she's juggling plates keeping all her secrets under wraps! Not only is the six women's conspiracy of silence around Keanu Taylor's murder under threat, she's struggling with her feelings for secret lover Jack Branning.

Although Stacey called things off with Jack, worried that his mentally unstable wife Denise Fox could blurt out the killer truth, it's clear the pair still have deep feelings for each other.

After an ultimatum from Denise, who has only recently returned from the psychiatric hospital after her psychotic break, Jack confides in Stacey.

Determined to keep the secret intact, Stacey advises an unwitting Jack to do whatever Denise wants, later visiting Denise and encouraging her to make a go of her marriage.

In a bid to bring the Slaters and Fox-Brannings together for the sake of the families' shared grandchild, baby Charli, Denise and Stacey arrange a family BBQ.

In the backyard, Stacey has a moment with Jack, telling him she wishes they could be together but he needs to be there for a fragile Denise.

A sad Jack reluctantly agrees that Stacey is right and they share a tender kiss as a goodbye.

But it seems their secret is about to be blown wide open when Stacey's ex Martin Fowler walks in and catches them!

Dean Wicks has been cruelly tampering with daughter Jade Green's antibiotic medication, wanting to keep her ill to stop her going to live in Pakistan with her mum Shabnam Masood and her family.

After cystic fibrosis sufferer Jade's lung transplant, she opted to live with Dean for a while, feeling too under pressure from Shabnam's constant fussing.

When Shabnam asked Jade to go to Pakistan with her to live with Jade's grandma Zainab Masood, mother and daughter put aside their differences and Jade agreed, wanting a fresh start.

After Dean found out Jade's plan, he was horrified, insisting it was too soon after her operation. Jade reassured him she'd be fine but when she came down with a chest infection, he started to scheme.

Knowing her doctor's advice would be to stay in the UK until her infection cleared up, Dean started opening Jade's pill capsules and emptying the contents down the sink.

Jean Slater has been helping Jade arrange a charity event at the Queen Vic and she's been keeping an eye on her. When she pops round to Dean's flat and finds a clearly ill Jade having a terrible coughing fit, she calls the doctor.

A psychotically selfish Dean is horrified by Jean's actions, knowing his evil scheme could soon be discovered.

Jade then sees something very disturbing on Dean's phone...

George Knight isn't feeling particularly cheerful on the morning of his birthday. Recent events where George discovered that his adoptive dad Eddie Knight killed his birth father have left him reeling.

Determined to give George a lovely birthday, his fiancee Elaine Knight and daughters Gina Knight and Anna Knight make a big fuss of him.

Things take a turn when George's adoptive mum Gloria Knight turns up. After all the revelations, George told a devastated Gloria he wanted nothing more to do with her and she's greeted with a VERY frosty reception.

When Gloria tries to make out that George had a happy childhood, he loses his cool. Although Gloria loved him very much, Eddie was controlling and violent and he also suffered a lot of racist abuse.

Gloria is shaken by George's outburst and Elaine suggests she leave. It's clear George is teetering on the edge as he breaks down in Elaine's arms.

Also, Avani Nandra-Hart is up to more tricks when she pressures Will Mitchell into vaping.

Martin Fowler is in shock after uncovering the secret affair

Martin Fowler is gobsmacked after popping his head out of the back door during the family BBQ to find married Jack Branning and Stacey Slater in the middle of a smooch!

Jack and Stacey have been carrying on an affair for months and only recently cooled things off so that Jack can concentrate on his mentally fragile wife Denise Fox.

When Martin sees them sharing what was meant to be their final kiss, he demands the truth. The panicky pair insist it was a moment of madness and beg him not to let Denise know.

Later, Stacey confesses to Martin that she and Jack were having a fling but they've called things off. She also reminds him that it's none of his business.

In a dilemma over what to do, Martin confides in Kathy Cotton, who is horrified that he's considering breaking the news of the affair to Denise.

Determined not to send her off the rails again following her psychotic break where Denise ended up hallucinating the ghost of murdered Keanu Taylor, Kathy insists he keeps it to himself.

Later, Jack breaks down on Denise and tells her he's been terrified after what happened to her.

His confession brings the couple together and they vow to fix their relationship.

Dean Wicks is in a fix after daughter Jade Green and Jean Slater's discovery.

When Jade looked on his phone she discovered that he's had loads of missed calls and texts from her worried mum Shabnam Masood.

Thinking on his feet after Jean confronts him, Dean claims that he's been dodging Shabnam's calls because he's so concerned about Jade moving to Pakistan with Shabnam while she's still recovering from her lung transplant.

Dean's explanation doesn't add up and Jade points out that Shabnam knows she's not well enough to travel yet, as she's battling a chest infection.

Little does Jade know that her apparently doting dad Dean is in fact messing with her antibiotics to prolong her illness and keep her with him for longer.


Wednesday

Dean Wicks pushes daughter Jade Green too far

Dean Wicks is seething that he's been banned from his own daughter's charity fundraiser, as Linda Carter doesn't want him anywhere near the Queen Vic.

Linda agreed to let Jade hold her fundraiser in the pub when Jean Slater revealed she needed a venue. But the last thing Linda can stomach is having rapist Dean, the man who assaulted her and forced her into a fake denial turning up to taunt her with his presence.

When Linda's son Johnny Carter, who hates Dean with a passion, taunts him about being kept out in the cold, Dean is fuming.

Not wanting to let Linda get the better of him, he schemes to find a way to get in, spinning a sob story to Jean and her partner Harvey Monroe.

When Dean turns up at the Vic, Jade begs landlady Elaine Peacock to let Dean in to hear her speech, promising he'll leave straight after.

A nervous Jade waits for her big moment but is badgered by Dean, who pleads and wheedles to get her to agree to stay in London, instead of moving to Pakistan with her mum Shabnam Masood.

Little does Jade know that an evil Dean's been tampering with her medication for her chest infection, hoping to keep her ill and stop her from leaving.

Linda Carter is HORRIFIED when she sees Dean in the pub and in a panic, she runs upstairs to hide. A worried Jean follows Linda and feels terrible when Linda makes Jean see that Dean has been playing her.

Determined to give it to Dean with both barrels, Jeans storms back downstairs and finds an upset Jade with Dean.

Considering lung transplant recipient Jade's fragile state, will Dean's actions put her in even more danger?

Honey Mitchell is horrified when she discovers her young son Will Mitchell vaping.

Demanding to know where he got the vape from, Honey's fuming when under pressure he confesses that he was sold the vape by teenager Avani Nandra-Hart.

Storming into the Queen Vic during Jade Green's charity fundraiser, Honey finds Avani's parents Priya Nandra-Hart and Ravi Gulati and she furiously confronts them.

She's left frustrated, however, when Priya refuses to accept responsibility for her daughter's actions or even apologise!

Also, Lauren Branning isn't keen on sister Penny Branning's suggestion that she have a big 30th birthday celebration, especially when she learns that Peter Beale can't make it...

Jack struggles after an ultimatum from Denise, but Stacey encourages him to do whatever Denise asks. Stacey decides to help Denise get her marriage back on track, so they arrange a barbecue for both sides of baby Charli's family.

During the barbecue, Stacey encourages Jack to focus on being there for Denise and they share a goodbye kiss. Martin walks in and is shocked to spot Stacey and Jack together.

Meanwhile, Gloria visits George on his birthday, but she angers him by protesting that he had a happy childhood. George is concerned by his own outburst and he confides in Elaine.

Elsewhere, Jean concerns Dean by calling a doctor when Jade has a bad coughing fit. Things get worse for Dean when Jade looks at his phone.

Also today, Avani puts pressure on Will to start vaping.

Jack and Stacey play down their kiss in front of Martin, begging him not to tell Denise. However, Stacey later confesses to Martin about the affair, clarifying that it's over and none of his business.

Martin shares his discovery with Kathy, who encourages him to keep quiet as she privately fears the consequences for The Six if Denise finds out. Later, Jack and Denise reach a breakthrough as they vow to fix their relationship.

Meanwhile, Dean is forced to create a cover story when Jade and Jean question why he has been avoiding calls and texts from Shabnam.

Later, Dean tells Jade that he'll only let her attend the fundraiser at The Vic if she's well enough. Jade is oblivious as Dean continues to tamper with her medication.

Dean goes against his promise to stay away from Jade's fundraiser at The Vic. Jade persuades Elaine to let him stay for her speech. Dean also tries to convince Jade to stay with him in London, but she still wants to move to Pakistan to be with Shabnam.

Linda is furious when she spots Dean in the bar and rushes upstairs, closely followed by Jean. Linda urges Jean to see that Dean is playing her, so Jean heads back downstairs and tells Dean to leave.

Meanwhile, Honey is angry to find out that Avani sold a vape to Will. She confronts Priya, who makes no apologies. Ravi takes a more tactful approach but Priya once again makes it worse.

Elsewhere, Penny considers organising a 30th birthday celebration for Lauren, but Lauren is unsure ? especially when Peter says that he won't be able to attend because he already has a date that night.

Priya rows with Ravi over the way she has raised Avani. She ends up flirting with Martin and invites him to buy her a drink at Peggy's later.

Ravi later apologises to Priya and they share a warm moment. He asks Priya if he can join her for a drink, but she rejects him in favour of Martin.

Meanwhile, Penny sets Lauren up with a dating profile so she can make Peter jealous.
