    Monday

When Kerry Wyatt returned to the village she knew she'd have to face Chas, the woman who stole her man, Al Chapman.

Conman Al may be dead and buried but the bad blood remains between the women who were once friends.

Needing to make a fresh start, Kerry agrees to be civil with the landlady but is soon given cause to go one better.

Overhearing Chas on the phone, Kerry's stunned to find out what she's going through.

When Kerry approaches Chas wanting to talk, the landlady is expecting a mouthful and taken aback when she gets the opposite.

Feeling terrible for Chas who's been diagnosed with cancer and is about to have a double mastectomy, Kerry offers her support.

As the women talk about what lies ahead, they decide to put their messy past behind them and move on.

Elsewhere, Charity tries to make progress with her recovery.

After an appointment with her therapist, Charity tries to confront her abandonment issues.

Stirred up and in an emotional state, Charity later needs space from Mack and walks out on him?

Is she going to be OK?

    Tuesday

At Jacob's Fold, Mack is thrown to find his wife has vanished.

With Charity having asked him for space again and again, she's walked out on the mechanic in utter turmoil.

Worried about her well-being, Mack heads off to find her and soon comes across Charity at the side of the road with her car which has broken down.

Taking ownership of his mistake, Mack apologises for not listening to her, desperate to be there for Charity who has PTSD.

Given that Charity's struggling to keep it together right now, has she got the headspace for all this with Mack or does she need some proper space from him?

At the Kings' house, Jimmy is a wreck as he contemplates life without his daughter Angel whose sentencing hearing is looming.

    Wednesday

With Chas Dingle's double mastectomy looming, she's feeling terrified.

Her son Aaron, who's been helping out at the Woolie, is stunned when he checks the rota and spots that his mum has only given herself two weeks off to recover from the major surgery.

When Paddy visits his ex, he manages to coax Chas into talking. As her walls come down, she confides her terror about what lies ahead as she tackles her cancer.

It's emotional to say the least but as the pair get swept up in their feelings, they find themselves kissing?

But Paddy's tactless response to the smooch, which he promptly labels a mistake, ends up really wounding Chas.

Determined to do the right thing by Mandy, Paddy later comes clean and is thrown when his girlfriend takes the news well.

It's time for the Kings to face the music.

Nicola and Jimmy are in bits as they head off with their daughter Angel who's been charged with death by dangerous driving which is likely to earn her a custodial sentence.

In court, the family crumbles as Angel, who's 14, is sentenced to spend eight months in a secure children's home.

    Thursday

After receiving the devastating news that she has triple-negative breast cancer, Chas made the brave decision to have a double mastectomy in a bid to save her life.

At the hospital, Chas puts on a brave face in front of her son Aaron Dingle as she's taken into surgery. Once alone, she's consumed with nerves, while Aaron and Cain Dingle are anxiously waiting for news on Chas. Although the pair don't show it, the uncle and nephew are thankful for each other's company.

Nicola King sobs as she struggles to imagine her daughter Angel's anguish after being sentenced to eight months in a secure children?s home for crashing the car that killed Heath Hope.

Meanwhile, Bob Hope is emotional as he reads Angel's letter. Later that evening, Nicola tries to keep it together when she receives a distressing call from Angel.

A devastated Nicola breaks down at her helplessness and heads over to the B&B to apologise to Bob. After being at loggerheads for months, the pair thaw towards each other as they confide in their shared grief.

Could this be the moment the families put an end to their feud?

Is there romance on the cards for the pair?

Meanwhile, Belle Dingle and Tom King look after Elliot and Carl when Jimmy and Nicola visit Angel.

Belle is horrified to find her laptop broken by a spilt milkshake, destroying her chances of finishing her proposal.
