PFA player of the year: Who should win?

Who do you think will/should win the PFA player of the season award and why?
I reckon it has to be Frank Lampard because his performances this season have been extroadinary and he has played in every single game for Chelsea ( What a player he has become since leaving us Hammers). I also think John Terry should be in with a shout, without doubt the best defender and captain this season and should be a regular for England i think although who would you drop?
PFA young player of the year should go to Rooney because he has really excelled at Man utd this season and although he could be in the running for PFA player of the season. If he is then it should go to Downing as he has excelled this season aswell and has pushed his way into the England reckoning...

I wouldn't mind John Terry or Frank lampard winning it but my vote goes to John Terry, he is outstanding every game and its about time a defender won it, there always getting over looked by the Strikers.
