Monday

Denise Fox has been increasingly unhinged since the murderous events of Christmas.

Things took a really dark turn for Denise after the six women involved in Keanu Taylor's death buried him under the floor of the cafe.

The concrete was barely dry when Denise realised that her distinctive 'D' necklace fell off and is lying next to the body!

Now owner of the cafe, Nish Panesar, has forged ahead with reopening the place, giving it a full refurb after the fire last year left it in a mess.

Disaster looks set to strike for the killer conspirators when a leak is discovered and part of the floor is wet.

Kathy Cotton and Stacey Slater are HORRIFIED when they overhear Nish talking to Kat Slater about the leak, saying the floor needs replacing.

The women gather for a crisis meeting, realising that if the floor has to come up then all hope is lost... Keanu's body will be found.

Fearing that the game is up, Denise panics and reasons that she needs to confess to their crimes. Seeking solace with Pastor Clayton, Denise seems to get confirmation when he encourages her to speak her truth about the heavy burden she's carrying.

Back at home, Denise prepares to write a confession letter to husband Jack Branning when something terrifying happens...

Still tormented by Keanu's death, a hallucinating Denise is comes face-to-face with Keanu when he 'appears' before her!

The ghost of Keanu seems to be haunting someone else in the Square when Bernie Taylor accidentally plays one of his old voice notes.

Then something that could blow the truth wide open occurs when Keanu's absent mum Karen Taylor returns after fleeing the Square before Christmas.

Karen wants answers...

Alcoholic Linda Carter wakes up at the Vic with a muddled head after having had a skinful the previous night followed by yet another ill-advised heart-to-heart with Alfie Moon.

Doing her best to avoid Alfie, Linda's left embarrassed when she bumps into him and she's forced to apologise for how she's been behaving.

When Alfie reveals that he's booked himself a holiday to celebrate the end of his cancer treatment, Linda's is encouraging, saying he deserves a break.

She's shocked when Alfie hits her with a bombshell and invites her to go on holiday with him.

Will the surprise offer tempt her to follow Sharon Watts' example and run away from her killer secret?

Also, George Knight feels proud of his dad Eddie Knight when he reveals he's won an award for championing diversity in boxing but his granddaughter Gina Knight is suspicious he's up to something.



Tuesday

Karen Taylor was forced to flee the Square before Christmas after taking the rap for son Keanu Taylor's fake kidnapping of Sharon Watts' son Albie.

Stealing the ?50,000 ransom money that belonged to Phil Mitchell, Karen did a runner with Mitch Baker. No one tries to get one over on Phil without consequences and she's made sure that she can't be tracked.

After learning that Keanu had supposedly fled the scene of a crime at Christmas, hitting Nish Panesar over the head with a champagne bottle and leaving him for dead, Karen's been out of her mind with worry.

Little does she know that Denise Fox smashed Nish over the head and Keanu was stabbed by Linda Carter, his body now under several feet of concrete in the cafe. In typical Karen fashion, she kicks off in the cafe, demanding answers from Nish about where her son has gone to.

When Phil finds out she's back in the Square, he storms over, demanding she returns his money. Standing her ground, Karen refuses to pay up and needles Phil by bringing up the fact that his estranged wife Kat Slater is now with Nish.

Knowing that Karen is could tear their murder conspiracy apart, Kathy Cotton vows to get rid of her. Having already had her husband Rocky Cotton banged up for the cafe fire in a bid to shut him up, Kathy reasons that they need to report Karen to the police for Albie's kidnapping...

Alcoholic Linda Carter has been dealing with her horror over stabbing and killing Keanu Taylor by turning back to the booze. Her recent relapse has been no surprise to her family, and no one suspects that there's a truly dark secret that has prompted her to fall off the wagon.

Discovering that Keanu's mum Karen Taylor is back, Linda is stunned, not knowing if she'll be able to keep it together in front of her. Rushing home to the Vic, she stuffs clothes in a bag, resolving to take Alfie Moon up on his offer and and go on holiday with him.

When mum Elaine Peacock catches Linda packing, she's worried. Telling her that going off with Alfie when she's still in a state is not the best idea, Elaine's frustrated when her daughter can't be dissuaded.

Stacey Slater is alarmed when Elaine lets slip that Linda's planning on leaving. With Sharon Watts still in Australia after fleeing the Square, it seems 'The Six' are starting to fall apart...

George Knight takes dad Eddie Knight to the Boxing Den and they find teen Denzel Danes training. Eddie encourages George to get into the ring with Denzel and help improve his form.

They're soon joined by Ravi Gulati's daughter Avani Nandra-Hart, who wants to do some sparring. Eddie encourages Denzel to get tough to improve his sparring, but it backfires when Denzel ends up upsetting Avani by insulting her.

With George having to sort out Denzel, Eddie is left to his own devices. He takes a call from wife Gloria Knight and tells her that everything is going to plan.

What are the pair keeping from George?



Wednesday

Kat Mitchell has found herself caught up in a surprise relationship with ex-con Nish Panesar after splitting up from her husband Phil Mitchell. Dumping Phil after finding out he'd slept with Lola Pearce's mum Emma Harding, Kat lurched straight into another romantic entanglement when a scheming Nish asked her out.

It's clear that Nish is using Kat in whatever game he's up to. Despite feigning that he's ready to move on from his broken marriage to Suki Panesar, he's not the kind of man to take a humiliation lying down.

Although Stacey Slater has tried to warn Kat that Nish is not a good man, she's stubbornly continued to see him.

When Nish gives her a coat that is quite obviously not her taste, she feels pushed into accepting it. Nish's controlling ways are starting to show and when he gives her a dressing down for questioning Priya Nandra-Hart's work ethic, Kat is riled.

Kat leaves the house without the gifted coat, but Nish follows her and asks her to wear it. Nish has been used to putting the frighteners on wife Suki Panesar to keep her line, so he's taken aback when she makes it clear she's not going to comply.

Worried for Kat, Stacey's mum Jean Slater gives Kat a few home truths about her relationship with Nish. It seems Jean has finally got through to her and Kat heads to Phil's to talk...

Elaine Peacock is worried about alcoholic daughter Linda Carter and her increasingly erratic behaviour. When Linda insisted that she was going off on holiday with Alfie Moon, Elaine was alarmed and she heads over to Alfie's flat to talk to him.

Things are about to get VERY tricky for Linda and the six women who conspired to get rid of Keanu Taylor's body at Christmas.

Keanu's mum Karen Taylor wants answers about their claim that Keanu attacked Nish Panesar and left him for dead before doing a runner. Linda is horrified when Karen bursts into The Vic, demanding to know exactly what happened.

Will killer Linda finally crack?

Gina Knight is still highly suspicious of her granddad Eddie Knight, not buying his recent attempt to convince his adopted son George Knight that he's the good guy.

Having been on the receiving end of some racist comments from Eddie, she's tried to warn her dad that Eddie is doesn't have his best interests at heart but George doesn't want to hear it.

Gina shares her concerns with mum Cindy Beale, who confronts George about letting Eddie get close to him. Not impressed by Cindy questioning his judgement, George hits back that she's not been the best parent herself.

Will he get wise to Eddie's lies?


Thursday

Lauren Branning was in shock when she returned to Albert Square to discover that she had a sister she knew nothing about! In a bid to stop Lauren quitting Walford, Sonia Fowler and Whitney Dean revealed the bombshell that Linda Carter's daughter Annie was fathered by Lauren's dad Max Branning.

Desperate to keep Max from interfering in her life after their brief and troubled fling, Linda tried to keep a lid on the secret and had implored his brother Jack Branning not to tell Max after Jack discovered the truth.

Despite being angry over Linda's deception, Lauren accepts Linda's reasoning and she was touched when Linda introduced Lauren to Annie as her sister.

Since moving back to Walford, Lauren has been increasingly alarmed by Linda's drinking. She catches her hiding a bag of wine from the Minute Mart, despite Linda's insistence to her mum Elaine Peacock that she's given up the booze.

Worried for Annie, Lauren offers to look after her and takes her off Linda's hands before Linda has a chance to disagree.

Will Lauren break her agreement with Linda and call her dad Max?

Lauren isn't the only one concerned about Linda's boozy antics. Her drinking is putting the Walford women involved in covering up Keanu Taylor's murder on edge...

When Kathy Cotton overhears Linda and Lauren's altercation, she interrupts to find out what's going on. Trying to hide the bag of wine from Kathy, Linda insists she's fine but Kathy's not having any of it. The pair are soon involved in a heated argument that starts attracting attention.

Ben Mitchell sees what's going on and he wades in to protect mum Kathy from Linda's ranting. Lauren and Kathy have had enough and tell Linda in no uncertain terms to sober up. Instead of listening to them, Linda heads out to The Albert.

Can anyone put a stop to the destructive path she's on?

Kat Mitchell and Priya Nandra-Hart certainly have no love lost between them. When Kat started seeing Nish Panesar after splitting up from hubby Phil Mitchell, a sneering Priya was constantly up in her face.

After the pair come to blows in The Square, Callum Highway and Ben Mitchell try to pull them apart.

Kat's dealt further heartache when she discovers that her eldest, Tommy Moon, has moved back in with stepdad Phil.

Is Kat's life falling apart?

Also, Cindy Beale is left hurting after she ends up in another argument with ex George Knight.

Bernie plots to get her job back and Nish is impressed by her initiative. He offers her the manager position, but things turn sour when he berates Bernie for accidentally playing an old voice note from Keanu.

Later, Karen returns to Walford.

Meanwhile, Nish plans to replace the floor at the caf? due to a leak. This forces the women to arrange a crisis meeting at Number 31. Denise considers that it might be better off to confess and she writes a letter to Jack. She also hallucinates Keanu as the events of Christmas continue to plague her conscience.

Elsewhere, Alfie plans a holiday to celebrate the end of his cancer treatment and he invites Linda to come with him.

Also today, Jack lies to Denise about sleeping on the sofa at Stacey's, while Gina isn't convinced by Eddie's sudden change in attitude.

Karen faces the consequences of her actions when Phil demands the ?50,000 ransom money back. Karen seeks answers about the events of Christmas Day, so Kathy and Stacey try to convince her that they're telling the truth.

Kathy considers getting Karen out of the way by reporting her to the police for Albie's kidnapping. Phil also seeks advice from Kathy about Karen.

Linda panics over Karen's return and decides that it's a good idea to go away for the holiday with Alfie. Stacey is shocked when Elaine mentions that Linda is leaving the Square.

Meanwhile, Eddie's tough approach has consequences for Denzel in the boxing ring. Yolande worries about Denzel's new obsession when he vows to train twice a day.

Eddie speaks to Gloria over the phone and it's clear that he's up to something when he reveals that everything is going to plan.

Elaine has a heart-to-heart with Alfie.

Lauren becomes suspicious when she sees Linda secretly drinking at The Vic. Karen then enters the pub and demands to speak to Linda about the events of Christmas.

Meanwhile, Kat accepts a coat from Nish that isn't to her taste. After Jean gives Kat some home truths over her relationship with Nish, she decides to visit Number 55 to see Phil.

Elsewhere, things turn sour when Cindy questions George on his new acceptance of Eddie. George retaliates by questioning Cindy's own parenting skills.

Linda tells Elaine that she intends to stop drinking, but Lauren soon spots that she's hiding a bottle of wine from the Minute Mart. Lauren intervenes by offering to look after Annie for a while.

Linda's behaviour also sparks a massive row with Kathy, which Ben tries to resolve. Lauren and Kathy both order Linda to sober up, but she heads to The Albert instead.

Meanwhile, Kat and Priya clash on the Square, forcing Ben and Callum to intervene. Kat receives a shock when she discovers that Tommy has gone to live with Phil.

Elsewhere, Cindy has a heart-to-heart with Peter and Ian following another argument with George.
