Neighbours' newest villain Chelsea Murphy plots to start a family with Paul Robinson next week.

Chelsea comes up with the plan as she desperately looks for ways to cement her future with the rich businessman.

The schemer has been trying to secure a long-term future with Paul ever since she arrived in Erinsborough earlier this year.

Although Chelsea and Paul are now in a relationship, Chelsea has felt repeatedly thwarted by Paul's unresolved feelings for his ex-wife Terese Willis ? as well as Krista Sinclair's determination to assert herself at Lassiters.

Next week, Chelsea is jealous as Paul judges the hotel's Longest Lie-In Event as a huge success.

Krista, who organised the contest, feels empowered by Paul's praise and tries to pitch further ideas to him. Chelsea is quick to dismiss these, but Krista makes it clear that she'll be communicating directly with Paul from now on.

Krista's new-found confidence coincides with Paul making a realisation. When Paul's son Leo Tanaka thanks him for being kind towards Krista, Paul decides that continuing in the same vein could be his way to fully win Leo over again.

Paul soon rewards Krista with the opportunity to brief his sister Lucy and the Lassiters International team on how the Lie-In went. This leaves Chelsea feeling like a spare part.

Chelsea suffers a second setback when she claims to Paul that his solicitors have suggested re-evaluating his will ? particularly the portions which list Terese as a beneficiary.

Paul dismisses this and vows not to make any changes, leaving Chelsea worried that he'll never let go of Terese.

Chelsea later searches for inspiration in the will document and looks carefully at the names of Paul's children.

Deciding that Paul's loyalty to his kids is something she can capitalise on, Chelsea secretly throws away her contraceptive pills before desperately trying to seduce Paul.

Neighbours airs these scenes on Monday, March 18.

Neighbours schemer Chelsea Murphy suffers another setback next week as Paul Robinson brutally dismisses the seriousness of their relationship.

Chelsea is aiming to cement a long-term future with Paul, but it seems that they're not on the same page.

A new storyline twist sees Chelsea make a secret plan to get pregnant with Paul's baby so that he'll be tied to her for life.

Chelsea comes up with this idea after scrutinising Paul's will and seeing the names of his children listed.

Aware of how much Paul values the importance of family, Chelsea ditches her contraceptive pills and goes into full-on seduction mode.

Next week, Chelsea takes every opportunity she can to sleep with Paul, desperate to increase her chances of getting pregnant.

Chelsea is frustrated when Paul's thoughts keep turning back to his ex-wife Terese Willis, wanting to support her following her split from Toadie Rebecchi.

Taking the honest approach for once, Chelsea admits that she's jealous of Paul and Terese's strong connection.

Paul harshly describes Chelsea as a "fun time" only, leaving her disappointed that he isn't taking her seriously. Will she continue with her plan regardless?

Neighbours star Stefan Dennis, who plays Paul, recently dropped a hint that his character could grow more attached to Chelsea in the longer-term.

He told Digital Spy: "It's lucky that he does have Chelsea because underneath the gold-digging and ambition, she is actually a good person and she's growing very, very fond of Paul ? and I think vice versa with Paul's attitude towards Chelsea as well.

"Paul is openly resigning his attitude towards Terese. As I've said before, I think he's accepting it. Underneath that, I think Paul will always try ? and if he sees an 'in' to get back with Terese, he probably will."

Neighbours airs these scenes on Tuesday, March 19.

They haven't given an official timeframe for Viva, other than saying it is an extended guest role. She also said the following in an interview in January, so she must stick around for a while yet:

"Bianca also revealed that Chelsea will be in Ramsay Street for more than just a flying visit, with her scheming set to unfold over this year.

She said: "Chelsea sticks around for a while and has quite a bit of business to tend to, and is determined to do so. So you'll be seeing a fair bit of me over the next few months." "
