Neighbours newcomer Viva Bianca teases long-term future of Chelsea story
    "She's a really effective manipulator."

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...murphy-future/

    Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours star Viva Bianca has revealed details about the future of her character Chelsea Murphy.

The character, who is the sister of Cara Varga-Murphy, made her first appearance in Erinsborough this month, with intentions to make a permanent move to the area.

However, the newcomer has ulterior motives, with a mysterious interest in Paul Robinson ? who she tries to pitch a business idea to.

In scenes that will air this week, Chelsea?s plans will become a bit clearer, and she tries to ask Paul on a date after purposely dressing like his ex-wife Terese.

In a video posted on the soap?s Instagram, actress Bianca spilled on what is to come with her character and what progress she is able to make with the businessman.

"The thing about Chelsea is she?s always got something else kind of ticking," she said. "And in this instance, it turns out things aren?t quite as they seem. Let?s just say she?s a really effective manipulator, and she does somewhat work her way into Paul Robinson?s good books."

Bianca also revealed that Chelsea will be in Ramsay Street for more than just a flying visit, with her scheming set to unfold over this year.

She said: "Chelsea sticks around for a while and has quite a bit of business to tend to, and is determined to do so. So you?ll be seeing a fair bit of me over the next few months."

The actress was also full of praise for her co-star and legendary actor Stefan Dennis, who has played Paul since the very first episode of Neighbours back in 1985.

She said: "I grew up obviously as an Australian kid, watching Neighbours, and knew Paul Robinson very well. And now I?m on set, going head to head with Paul Robinson and working with Stefan almost every day.

"And he?s honestly one of my favourite people now. Like not just on Ramsay Street, but like one of my favourite people in the world."

Neighbours releases new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays for free on Amazon Freevee in the UK and US. In Australia, the show airs from Mondays to Thursdays at 4pm on Channel 10, with a 6.30pm repeat screening on 10 Peach.

Neighbours hints at Chelsea Murphy's revenge on Remi as her scheming continues
    Will she cause more problems?

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...-revenge-remi/

    Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours newcomer Chelsea Murphy could cause further trouble for her sister-in-law Remi as she becomes determined to stick around in Erinsborough.

Chelsea hides her true intentions next week as she puts on an outward display of making amends with Remi following recent tensions.

Remi was unhappy when Chelsea arrived in town last month and she later uncovered her relative's shameless bid to use Paul Robinson for his money.

Determined to thwart Chelsea, no-nonsense Remi warned Paul's son David Tanaka about her secret agenda.

The situation grew worse when Chelsea made spiteful comments about Remi and Cara's marriage, which led to Cara deciding to kick her sister out.

In the coming days, Chelsea uses David's tragic death to her own advantage as she manipulates the situation to secure another chance from Cara.

Chelsea is also relieved to learn that Paul is happy to have her in his life, despite being aware that she's attracted to his money. It seems that Paul is enjoying the distraction amid his grief for David.

Claiming that it's time for a fresh start, Chelsea offers an olive branch to Remi and promises that she's ready to forget about the warning that Remi gave to David.

At face value, the Varga-Murphy family seem to be back on track, but Chelsea may not be as forgiving as she appears. Should Remi watch out?

Viva Bianca, who plays Chelsea, recently teased her character's future by revealing: "The thing about Chelsea is she's always got something else kind of ticking.

"And in this instance, it turns out things aren't quite as they seem. Let's just say she's a really effective manipulator, and she does somewhat work her way into Paul Robinson's good books."

She added: "Chelsea sticks around for a while and has quite a bit of business to tend to, and is determined to do so. So you'll be seeing a fair bit of me over the next few months."

Neighbours airs Chelsea and Remi's scenes on Monday, February 12.

Neighbours releases new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays for free on Amazon Freevee in the UK and US. In Australia, the show airs from Mondays to Thursdays at 4pm on Channel 10, with a 6.30pm repeat screening on 10 Peach.

Neighbours' Chelsea Murphy secures another major victory in Paul Robinson scheme
She takes advantage of David's death.

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...binson-scheme/

    Neighbours spoilers follow.

Chelsea Murphy will have some unexpected success with her scheme to charm Paul Robinson in Neighbours.

Chelsea has been at odds with sister-in-law Remi over her plans to woo Paul for his money, culminating in a row where Chelsea insulted Remi and Cara's marriage.

She has since used David Tanaka's tragic death as a means for a shaky truce with Remi while still getting close to grieving Paul.

Paul will continue struggling in upcoming scenes, as he questions the part he may have played in David's heartbreaking demise.

Lucy Robinson worries about her brother's state of mind because she's due to travel back to the US. Ultimately, Lucy realises she can't leave him while he's struggling.

This puts Lucy in a very difficult position, as she has to be supportive of Paul while still trying to juggle her work and family responsibilities.

Over at the Varga-Murphy house, Chelsea manages to irritate Remi once again and it's not long before her sister-in-law questions how much longer she plans to stay.

Chelsea soon spots an opportunity to get closer to Paul and get her sister-in-law off her back at the same time.

After learning of Lucy's difficult circumstances, Chelsea offers to move in with Paul so she can see him through the grieving process.

These scenes air on Thursday, February 15.

If you're doubting whether Chelsea's gesture is entirely selfless, cast member Viva Bianca recently hinted that the character always has a scheme up her sleeve.

"The thing about Chelsea is she's always got something else kind of ticking," she said. "And in this instance, it turns out things aren't quite as they seem. Let's just say she's a really effective manipulator, and she does somewhat work her way into Paul Robinson's good books.

    TV Week article:

    "Act of Revenge

Chelsea's insecurities drive her to do something unforgiveable

Chelsea's meddling ways get the better of her when she witnesses a moment between Paul and Terese that prompts her to sabotage a memorial to Terese's late son.

Paul and Terese commiserate over both having lost a child. Paul's son David recently died, while Terese's son Josh was killed in an explosion at Lassiters Hotel years before. The once-married couple share a sombre but deep moment in the hotel foyer looking at a plaque in Josh's memory, which sends Chelsea into a jealous spin.

"Chelsea is triggered by any shared moments between Paul and Terese," Viva Bianca tells TV Week. "The moment over Josh's plaque represents their long history as well as their new-found relateability over losing a son. Chelsea is worried that this connection might strengthen, and she might lose Paul to Terese."

Chelsea interrupts that heartfelt moment to send a message to Terese. "Chelsea sees Terese as a successful older woman who has built a robust business for herself - exactly what Chelsea aspires to," Viva explains. "Moreover Chelsea recognises that Paul still carries a torch for Terese."

In return, Terese confronts Chelsea, telling her she's aware she's trying to take advantage of Paul while he's grieving and vulnerable. "It's no secret that Chelsea wants financial security with Paul," Viva says. "But Chelsea is also falling for Paul and sees a real future by his side in a genuine and romantic sense. Terese's brazen public confronting of Chelsea is a sucker punch."

Chelsea retaliates by wrapping Josh's plaque in plastic and tossing it in a pile of debris, determined for it to end up in the trash. What effect will Chelsea's act have? Could it cost her Paul and the lifestyle she covets?"

Neighbours' Chelsea Murphy to suffer another major setback
She fails to cause trouble for Krista next week.

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...urphy-setback/

    Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours schemer Chelsea Murphy is left seething next week as another of her plans ends in failure.

Chelsea targets Krista Sinclair on an important week for Lassiters, determined to prove that the hotel's new consultant isn't up to the job.

Krista is upbeat as she prepares to launch the complex's Longest Lie-In competition, which she has organised as a tribute to David Tanaka.

As Krista promises Paul Robinson that everything is in place, she's unaware that Chelsea has plans of sabotage in mind.

Chelsea plots chaos by secretly changing the hotel's roster, ensuring that the event is understaffed.

Fortunately, Krista manages to think on her feet by handing out walkie-talkies to everyone, which allows the small number of staff on duty to still work efficiently together.

Cara Varga-Murphy, Remi Varga-Murphy, Sadie Rodwell, Nicolette Stone, Haz Devkar and Mackenzie Hargreaves are among those who compete.

Cara and Remi take a competitive approach by trying to psych out their rivals Haz and Mackenzie, while Byron Stone is on waiter duties and takes the opportunity to flirt with Sadie as he serves her.

Vera Punt is also in the mix of competitors, but her outspoken behaviour takes its toll on everyone and Holly Hoyland schemes to have her ousted from the contest early.

The competition also features a surprise return for Haz's ex-girlfriend Billie Alessio, who makes a failed attempt to sabotage Haz and Mackenzie.

Later, the winners are finally announced and the event is deemed a huge success.

As Krista revels in the glory, Chelsea is clearly disappointed that she didn't manage to ruin things. Will she now up her game when it comes to this vendetta?

Neighbours airs these scenes on Monday, March 11 and Tuesday, March 12.

Neighbours releases new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays for free on Amazon Freevee in the UK and US. In Australia, the show airs from Mondays to Thursdays at 4pm on Channel 10, with a 6.30pm repeat screening on 10 Peach.
