The repercussions of Christmas Day tragedy are still ongoing and six matriarchs are struggling to cope

Gina knows Jay is going to need some help to run the London marathon and convinces Peter to help him train.


WEDNESDAY

Alfie can't help but feel let down when a friend fails to support him during his first round of treatment

Lauren agrees to stay in Walford and let Peter see Louie and Penny hopes her cousin might thaw towards her too



THURSDAY

Lauren and Penny start looking for a flat together but the Peter decides to throw a spanner in the works

There's a shock for Sam when she lzearnsthat Kat knew about Albie's paternity but didn't tell anyone for weeks.

Builders turn up at the cafe to begin the restoration work, leaving Kathy, Suki, Stacey and Linda in a panic. Stacey sees Linda spiralling and urges her to see that all of their futures depend on her staying sober.
Suki persuades the builders to down tools, but she knows that she and the rest of the women will have to move Keanu's body quickly. They discuss tactics and Suki receives a call that could change everything.
Meanwhile, a newly-released Lauren arrives back on the Square and looks forward to being reunited with Louie. Peter convinces Lauren to stay for longer than she'd planned, but she changes her mind when she finds out that Peter knew Penny's secret and didn't tell her.
Linda worries that Lauren will find out the truth about Annie's paternity. Whitney promises to keep quiet, but just as Lauren is about to leave in a taxi with Louie, Sonia approaches and tells her that she has another sister in Walford.
Elsewhere, Amy questions Denise's commitment to the Branning family.
Also today, Lily struggles with the adjustment of being back at school and having less time with Charli.

Lauren bursts into The Vic and demands to know why Linda didn't tell her that Annie is her sister.
Meanwhile, Elaine oversteps in her protection of Linda.
Elsewhere, Gina asks Peter to help Jay train for the London Marathon.
Also today, The Six continue to struggle after the events of Christmas.

Denise is due to attend another meeting with the women to discuss what to do about Keanu's body, but Jack delays this by giving her an introduction to Penny.
When Denise finally arrives in the barrel store, she's unimpressed to find Linda drunk. The women agree to meet in the caf? that night and soon make their excuses as they prepare to put their plan into action.
Meanwhile, Lauren considers whether to go to Exeter, but Bobby gives her a different outlook when he pleads Peter's case. She eventually agrees to stay in Walford for a while longer.
Lauren announces her plans to Peter and promises to let him see Louie. Penny hopes that Lauren will warm to her too, but when Lauren makes it clear that won't be happening, Sonia decides to intervene.
Elsewhere, Phil is rocked by the news that Aunt Sal has died. As he contemplates the importance of family, he seeks out Sharon to discuss access to Albie but Zack intercepts him.
Also today, Jay, Ben and Honey begin their training for the London Marathon.
Finally, as Alfie recovers from his first round of treatment, he's disappointed when Linda fails to show up for their planned movie night.

Sam gets tough over Albie's paternity and warns Zack that Phil will take Sharon to court if he's not allowed access. Zack fights back against his former friend.
Later, Sam is shocked to discover that Kat already knew about Albie's paternity and kept it quiet. She decides to do some further digging over what's being going on and she gets suspicious over what leverage Sharon has over Phil.
Meanwhile, Peter puts a spanner in the works for Penny when she starts flat-hunting with Lauren, making it clear that he won't let Louie live with someone who's caught up in the drug world. Penny fights back by trying to convince Peter that she's a good person.
Elsewhere, George gives Elaine advice when she worries about Linda's wellbeing, pointing out that she can't fix her daughter.
Also today, Eve starts moving Suki's belongings into the Slater house.
