    Emmerdale Spoilers 30th Oct - 3rd November 2023

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/emm...hodunit-story/

Emmerdale has revealed that a villainous character will lose their life next week, which will kick off a big whodunit story for the Dingle family.

The soap has confirmed that rapist Craig Reed, who recently assaulted Lydia Dingle, will be found dead in the episode airing on Monday, October 30, and that the Dingles will subsequently take centre stage at a lock-in at The Woolpack.

In a week filled with 'betrayal and secrets', suspicious Lydia will gather her family in the pub to question each of them about their whereabouts on the night of Craig's death.

Viewers will then see a series of flashbacks which weave a tangled web of events leading up to Craig's death. As the layers of deception are peeled away, the truth will eventually be revealed to the audience, with the only certainty being that nothing is quite as it seems...

In next Monday's episode, Billy Fletcher will be horrified to discover Craig's bloodied and lifeless body in the fields at Home Farm.

Later on, Lydia gathers her family at The Woolpack and announces to the shocked clan that Craig is dead. As the Dingles begin to question what happened to Craig, Lydia is certain that one of them is responsible for killing him.

Already in possession of the knowledge that her husband Sam and Cain had Craig tied up in a remote barn before his death, Lydia's investigation begins with them. In a series of flashbacks, viewers will discover what happened at the barn.

After listening to Sam and Cain, the focus shifts to Belle. Belle recounts her day with boyfriend Tom King, who, after a romantic meal, proposed to Belle. But Belle isn't giving a true account of her day ? what exactly is she hiding?

Lydia then moves onto questioning recent returnee Aaron, who fights back when the Dingles push him for his alibi.

Aaron shifts the focus onto an uneasy Charity, who, along with Chas, flashes back to events from the previous day. However, conversation soon turns to another matter as Charity isn't being honest...

Soon, it's Caleb and Nate's turn to offer their account of the day ? what exactly is Caleb hiding?

Next, Mandy and Marlon are thrust into the spotlight. Emotional Mandy is hiding a secret, but what is she keeping from her family?

As Marlon talks through his own day, we flashback again. However, Marlon chooses to miss out a big piece of information from his account...

With everyone's alibi seemingly established, Lydia remains troubled as she wonders whether someone is being deceitful.

Unable to cope with his wife's distress, a guilt-ridden Sam reveals that there is more to his version of events than previously disclosed, and we finally find out what really happened to Craig that night.

Emmerdale producer Laura Shaw has teased the "unmissable special week" for the popular family.

"Expertly and innovatively directed by Gary Williams, the infamous Woolpack becomes centre stage for the group of Dingles gathered to reveal their alibis? or no alibi as the case may be!" she said.

"Stepping out of the usual Emmerdale style, a series of flashbacks will let the viewers in on the lies each person has told and the secrets they are hiding.

"The week will truly keep everyone on the edge of their seats with each day more and more explosive secrets revealed that promise to have huge repercussions, shatter lives and cause fireworks in the Dingles bigger than ever seen before."

    MONDAY

So Lydia Dingle's rapist Craig has been found dead on the grounds of Home Farm and she's convinced one of her family is responsible.

Having gathered the lawless clan, Lydia explains the reason they've all been summoned to the Woolpack in the dead of night, revealing the grisly news about Craig and announcing she's holding a Dingle court to find out who killed him!

Which of them is acting shocked?

All will be revealed in a shocking week of episodes as Lydia interrogates her loved ones while flashbacks will reveal each and every one of them is lying and has something to hide?

Knowing that her husband Sam and Cain had held Craig hostage in a barn, Lydia starts with the brothers, wanting an explanation of what happened next. Did they go on to kill him?

As the men set about giving their side of the story, a flashback will show that they're not telling her everything.

It's then Belle's turn to talk. Tom's her alibi but as she reveals he proposed to her after a romantic meal, she's hiding something. But what? and why? And will Lydia accept her version of events?

What will a flashback about Belle's evening reveal?

    TUESDAY

As Lydia's bid to uncover who killed her rapist Craig continues it's Aaron's turn to take centre stage in the Dingle court.

He loops Vinny into his testimony and when the Dingles press Chas' volatile son for info, he snaps.

Given that Chas' son hasn't exactly been calm and level-headed since he returned to the village, could Craig's crime have given him the ideal excuse to vent his aggression?

Will a flashback reveal that Aaron killed the rapist?

Either way, Aaron's quick to deflect the focus on to Charity who looks decidedly uneasy as she takes the hot seat.

A victim of rape herself, has Charity taken the chance to avenge Bails' crime from years ago, killing Craig for his attack on Lydia?

In a flashback, Charity and Chas are seen discussing Craig? but what happened next?

What is Charity not telling the family, and why?

Next up are Caleb and his nephew and right-hand man Nate.

Caleb's no stranger to violence and has a lot to prove to the family given all that he put them through when he first arrived in the village. Has Craig's crime given him the chance to show his loyalty to the Dingles? What will his flashback reveal?

    WEDNESDAY

Mandy Dingle might never forgive herself for having thought that Lydia cheated on Sammy with Craig.

The beautician was one of the first to spot that something was up with Lydia who didn't tell her family for months that her so-called pal Craig had raped her.

But when Lydia's stepson Samson was fed a pack of lies by businessman Craig ? who told the teen he and his stepmum had been having a thing ? Mandy got sucked in and accused Lydia of having an affair.

As the Dingle court in the locked-in Woolie continues, it's Mandy's turn to give her alibi and she's a mess.

What will the flashback reveal? What's fraught Mandy keeping from the family? Did she kill Craig?

It's then Marlon's turn to give his account of what he was up to the night Craig was murdered.

What's the chef keeping from his family?

    THURSDAY

In the Woolpack, the Dingles have spent the night talking. Lydia has listened as 12 of her relatives gave their alibis for the night her rapist, Craig Reed, was killed.

But flashbacks have revealed that each and every one of them was lying. And with no one having admitted to being responsible for the murder, Lydia knows that too.

It's all too much for Lydia who can't bear that someone is lying. The fragile Dingle wife is in bits and her husband Sam just can't take it.

The family is stunned when Sam steps forward, admitting that he hasn't given the full facts about what happened after he and Cain took Craig hostage.

Did the Dingle take revenge on the rapist for the hell he put Lydia through and for the pain Craig caused his duped and manipulated son Samson?

As Craig's murderer is revealed, was heartbroken Sam the culprit?

    FRIDAY

Chloe Harris is a ticking time bomb right now.

While Mack, her fianc?, thinks she has no recollection of the clifftop ordeal ? which saw him save Charity rather than her ? the opposite is true.

Chloe totally remembers that Mack reached out his hand to save his ex-wife letting her, the mother of his baby son Reuben, plummet in their smashed up car.

She also knows the pair have slept together behind her back and she is seething.

But Chloe's still playing happy families with Mack, pretending everything is tickety-boo.

With her angry sister Amy in the know about Mack's affair with Charity and the choice Mack made that fateful day they set off to Scotland, how much longer can Chloe keep up the act?

Elsewhere in the village, the police arrive to investigate Lydia's rapist Craig's death. Will they uncover the guilty culprit?

With the Dingle family in the middle of a storm right now Belle tells Chas she doesn't feel it's the right time for her and Tom to get married. Marlon is riddled with guilt, and Pollard tries to put a brave face on his troubles.

Could it possibly be a Dingle that nobody has mentioned yet, like Samson ?

But do they actually kill him? I'm wondering if it turns out to be someone else?
