Coronation Street and Emmerdale face fresh schedule changes for a third week on ITV.

This week and next week see the popular soaps hit our screens at amended times due to the airing of both the Rugby World Cup and the UEFA Women's Nations League.

As the Rugby World Cup continues into October, fans will see the programmes moved around in the schedule to accommodate the sport's live coverage.

Monday, October 2, and Wednesday, October 4, will see Corrie air at 8pm, accompanied by a rare Tuesday, October 3 outing at the same time.

No episode will air on Friday, October 6 to make space for live coverage of the Rugby World Cup match between France and Italy from 7.30pm, explaining why fans are seeing a Tuesday episode.

Emmerdale will also air at the earlier time of 7pm on Friday, October 6, instead of its usual 7.30pm, because of this.

Next week will also see the soap air at amended times, but there's plenty of drama set to unfold on the cobbles to make up for the change as Stephen's lies are further brought into question after Leo's body is discovered.

Elsewhere in the soap, Courtney finds herself in a tricky situation when Dev tries to bribe her after her affair with Aadi was exposed in a previous showdown, and things get heated at Shelly's funeral.

Meanwhile, over in the Dales, there are wedding bells in the air as Mack proposes to Chloe when he believes she's pregnant again.

In The Woolpack, Charles loses his temper as he grapples with telling Claudette the truth about his dad, Victor.

Also in next week's episodes, Chas faces a difficult moment with her ex-husband, Paddy, as well as Mandy and Eve.

In the cafe, Tyrone finds Cassie with Evelyn and asks where Cassie was on September 11th as his car was used in a hit-and-run. She denies she had anything to do with it but it is clear Evelyn doesn?t believe her.

Aadi reveals that Dev offered Courtney ?5k to leave him so as far as he?s concerned, their Dad?s an idiot. As Asha leaves, Courtney tells Aadi she?s proud of him and leads him to the bedroom.

Yasmeen arrives back from Pakistan and is shocked when Stu reveals how Dom tried to demand cash in return for custody of Eliza.

    TUESDAY

A hungover Cassie Plummer arrives for work and makes out to Tyrone she spent the night at a mate?s. Meanwhile, Kevin tells Abi he found Cassie drunk and let her spend the night on their couch but she doesn?t want Tyrone to find out.

Later, Cassie calls at the garage and thanks Kevin for not grassing her up to Tyrone and watches him fondly as he goes to put the kettle on.

Mason, Dylan and a reluctant Liam, plan their day skiving off school. In the precinct, Mason hands the lads disposable vapes. Dylan tries it and feels sick but when Mason forces Liam to inhale it causes him to suffer an asthma attack. Realising it?s serious, Mason does a runner leaving Dylan to call an ambulance.

At the hospital, Maria and Gary are horrified to discover what happened and that Liam is hanging out with Mason Radcliffe. Gary tells Maria that the Radcliffes are a notorious family and Liam needs to stay well clear. Maria heads to number 11 demanding answers but Mason denies having anything to do with it.

Later, Liam receives a text from Mason threatening to beat him up if he snitches on him.

Dom and Eliza call at No.6, but Dom refuses to let her stay for tea and orders her to get the rest of her things. Yasmeen assures Stu that once the novelty of living with her Dad has worn off, Eliza will be back and all they can do is wait and be there for her when the time comes.

Jenny tells Stephen that although she can see the appeal of moving to Thailand on a permanent basis, it?s a pipedream and a holiday will do. Stephen shows Jenny a picture of a bar in Thailand and explains that a friend owns it and he?s looking for a new manager. Jenny realises how serious he is about relocating. Will she be swayed as he leans on her to start a new life?

    WEDNESDAY

Carla Connor opens the letter from the clinic confirming that there were traces of LSD in her hair sample. She tells Peter she thinks it was Rufus but it doesn?t add up when checking the dates of her illness.

In the factory, Carla grimaces as she takes a sip of a coffee made by Michael. When Michael apologises, and points out that normally Stephen or Sarah make the coffee, Carla freezes as the truth dawns.

She drags Stephen into the office and tells him she knows he spiked her drinks with LSD and she?s going to prove it. Sarah?s unease is evident as Carla storms out. Carla shares her suspicions about Stephen with DS Swain, but she?s frustrated when she asserts that it?s mere speculation and she needs proper evidence.

Having heard Stephen talking to Jenny about moving to Thailand, Sarah reminds him he still owes Audrey the money from the house. However, Stephen assures her it?s just a holiday.

As he heads towards Rita?s flat, he freezes when he hears ?Sexy Boy?, the ringtone he heard by the canal. He turns to see Tim answering his phone and realises with horror that Tim must have followed him that night.

Later, Jenny calls in the Kabin and tells Rita she?s made her mind up and she?s moving to Thailand. In the caf?, Stephen?s thrilled when Jenny tells him she?d love to move to Thailand.

Desperate to avoid Mason, Liam makes out he?s sick and Maria calls the school. In the precinct, Mason shows off in front of his mates and makes some cracks at Dylan about his gay Dad.

Will Dylan see Mason?s true colours?

Billy, Paul and Summer survey the new wheelchair that has arrived and realise it won?t fit through the doorway to the flat. Whilst Ed measures up the doorway, a parishioner called Babs approaches Billy and, handing him a bottle of fizz, congratulates him on his marriage. But when a parishioner called Vaughn tells Billy he should be ashamed of himself, Billy loses his temper and tells him he needn?t worry as his husband is dying - unaware that Paul has heard.

Sally tells Tim she?s expecting a parcel but he?s not to open it. Tim takes delivery of it and instinctively opens it. When he sees it?s a leather wallet with a note saying ?Happy Anniversary?, he realises he?d forgotten.

Elsewhere, Stu meets up with Lesley, a PI and instructs her to dig some dirt on Dom.
