EastEnders' Suki Panesar gets an attack of the green-eyed monster over Eve Unwin's mystery new woman

Suki and Eve aren't on the best of terms following their recent split. The pair embarked on a passionate affair last year and Suki was on the verge of leaving her controlling husband Nish to start a new life with Eve.

But just as the lovers were preparing to flee Walford, Suki tumbled down the stairs and ended up in hospital. During a confrontation with son Vinny, Suki came clean about her affair, admitting she'd fallen hopelessly in love with Eve.

Vinny was sickened by his mum's confession and blackmailed her into staying in her abusive marriage, leaving Eve broken-hearted.

Since then Suki has been playing the part of devoted wife, while trying to suppress her desire for Eve. But her feelings resurface when she fears her ex has eyes for someone else.

While in the caf?, Suki is overcome with jealousy when she overhears a woman called Caz asking after Eve.

Assuming her ex has moved on, Suki stops Bernie Taylor from sharing any information on Eve's whereabouts with Caz.

Her efforts are all in vain though and when Eve gets wind she has a secret admirer she's straight over to the caf? to meet Caz. Clearly impressed by what she finds, Eve agrees to go on a date with the mysterious blonde.

Later on, Eve and Suki share an awkward encounter in the Minute Mart. But events take a sudden turn as Eve goes to leave the shop and Suki almost faints.

Is her funny turn a sign of something more serious?

Over at the bookies, Phil Mitchell asks Alfie Moon to mind the kids while Kat Slater is away at Little Mo's.

Alfie has another visitor when a downbeat Freddie arrives for a pep-talk.

The teen is in turmoil after discovering the truth about his biological dad, Graham Foster. Freddie was elated to finally come face-to-face with the car salesman after waiting his whole life to meet him.

But his world was shattered when Kat Slater, Alfie Moon and Billy Mitchell were forced to reveal he was conceived after Graham raped Little Mo.

During their chat, Freddie lets slip that Tommy tipped him off where to find Graham, leaving Alfie appalled.

Back at Number 55, a huge row erupts between father and son before Tommy storms off to the park with troublemaking mate, Perry.

Alfie tracks down Tommy and orders him home, where another heated exchange ensues. Phil arrives mid-fight and shares his own harsh views on Alfie's parenting style.

After taking a little time to cool down and reflect on Phil's scathing review, Alfie vows to make amends with Tommy. But will the headstrong lad want to know?

Also, secret stalker Theo Hawthorne continues his pursuit of Stacey Slater by inviting her out for a drink.

Sensing her anxiety about the upcoming assessment to check if she's a suitable guardian for Lily's baby, Theo makes it clear Stacey can lean on him for support.

As they sit down together, delusional Theo assumes they're on a date and is less than pleased when Eve gatecrashes his cosy evening for two.

    TUESDAY

Alfie Moon suffers a major health scare and ends up in hospital during

Life hasn't been easy for Alfie since he returned to Albert Square last year. He had his heart set on winning back ex-wife Kat Slater, but Alfie's haphazard attempts to break up her relationship with Phil Mitchell all ended in failure.

Alfie then suffered another blow when he lost his job as barman at The Queen Vic after clashing with new landlady Elaine Peacock.

After weeks out of work, Alfie finally caught a break when he was offered a job at the local bookies, although he's not been impressing formidable boss Olga.

Things at home haven't been easy either. Alfie isn't seeing eye-to-eye with his eldest son Tommy and was furious to learn he told Freddie Slater the whereabouts of his rapist father, Graham Foster.

Alfie's relationship with Tommy is at an all-time low, and the dad's bad luck looks set to continue as fears are raised about the state of his health.

Following their latest run-in, Alfie tries to smooth things over with angry Tommy by apologising for being an absent father.

The pair make up, but things turn sour when Alfie forbids Tommy from spending time his mate Perry, who he believes is a troublemaker.

Meanwhile, Phil gets wind of Tommy's behaviour towards Alfie and reveals the lad previously lashed out at Kat. In a rare moment of agreement, Alfie and Phil decide to take Tommy to the Boxing Den to work out some aggression.

Afterwards, Tommy apologises to his dad, but Phil is concerned when he notices Alfie is grimacing in pain. Knowing something isn't right, Phil waits until Tommy leaves before ordering Alfie to go to Walford General for an emergency check up.

Is Alfie in for more bad news?

Elsewhere, smitten Bobby Beale asks Anna Knight if he'll help her arrange a surprise birthday party for Bernie, in an attempt to spend more time with her.

She agrees to lend a hand, but isn't sold on Bobby's idea of a Cider, Cheese and Chess night. Deciding they need to liven things up a little, Anna tries to get downbeat Freddie on board.

Unsurprisingly Freddie's in no mood to party having discovered the truth about his dad and tells Anna he can't face it. The barmaid won't take no for an answer though, and manages to change Freddie's mind after they share a heart-to-heart in The Vic.

Bonded by their shared experience of being let down by absent parents, Anna and Freddie grow closer.

Might Bobby have a rival for Anna's affections?

Across the Square, Suki Panesar dismisses husband Nish and son Vinny's concerns following her dizzy spell and insists she's fine to go to work.

Eve Unwin is also worried about Suki's wellbeing and pops into the Minute Mart to see her. Eve succeeds where Nish and Vinny failed and is able to persuade her former lover to see a doctor.

Back at home, Vinny tries to get his mum to open up about her feelings, but finds himself on the receiving end of Suki's sharp tongue as she demands he stay out of her personal life and show her some respect!

Also, Stacey Slater urges Eve to move on from Suki and go out with newcomer Caz. Annoyed, Eve retorts by telling Stacey to stop leading Theo Hawthorne on.

Realising she may have given Theo the wrong impression, Stacey goes to see her secret stalker and reaffirms her desire to be just friends. How will he take it?

    WEDNESDAY

EastEnders' Eve Unwin's world is shattered after a making horrifying discovery

Eve has been in turmoil following her split from soulmate, Suki Panesar. The secret lovers were all ready to run away from Walford and start a new life together until Suki's son Vinny discovered their affair and blackmailed his mum into choosing her family over Eve.

Heartbroken by Suki's abandonment, Eve has remained single since their break-up. But things are now looking up in her love life after making a connection with newcomer, Caz.

Eve was intrigued to learn Caz, who's going under the name of 'Amanda', was looking for her. The ladies hit it off straightaway and Eve didn't hesitate in accepting Amanda's offer to go for a drink.

But is there an ulterior motive to Amanda's invite?

Stacey Slater discovers that Eve has a date with Amanda when she leaves her phone unattended and decides to bring it up with her.

Eve opens up about her plans, but decides she can't meet Amanda when Stacey receives another threatening letter from her stalker. Not wanting Eve to miss out, Stace insists she goes ahead with the date and lends her a new outfit to impress Amanda.

Unfortunately, the evening isn't quite what Eve had hoped for as she struggles to find a spark with Amanda. Feeling awkward, Eve prepares to leave The Albert, but is stopped in her tracks when Amanda declares her real name is Caroline.

In an instant, Eve's world is turned upside down as Caroline then reveals her true identity.

But just who is she and what is her connection to Eve?

Meanwhile, Alfie Moon tries to distract himself from his ongoing health woes by supporting good friend, Linda Carter.

The landlady is debating whether to fight for custody of Janine and Mick Carter's baby son. Keen to help, Alfie agrees to accompany Linda to meet her solicitor, but Elaine Peacock and George Knight are quick to voice their disapproval of the idea.

Later on, a clearly distracted Alfie forgets all about his promise to Linda and hails a cab to take him to the hospital, while his son Tommy looks on.

Following his appointment, miserable Alfie heads to Peggy's where he proceeds to get drunk and ends up clashing with Phil Mitchell.

Feeling guilty over letting Linda down, Alfie slopes off to The Vic and apologises. She clocks that Alfie isn't his usual cheery self, but he covers, not wanting to let anyone know what's ailing him.

Elsewhere, three is a crowd for Freddie Slater, Bobby Beale and Anna Knight.

Despite having grown close to the bubbly barmaid, Freddie is on a mission to get Anna together with his best mate, Bobby.

Fred decides to bow out of their planning meeting for Bernie's upcoming birthday party, so Bobby can have some alone time with his crush.

But when Bobby tries to be someone he's not by acting all suave and sophisticated, an uncomfortable Anna makes a swift exit.

Will Bobby ever get his girl?

    THURSDAY

EastEnders' Eve Unwin reaches breaking point and suffers a violent meltdown in Thursday's episode (7.30pm, see our TV Guide for full listings).

Eve's been down in the dumps since her messy split from Suki Panesar. But she finally found a reason to smile again after hitting it off with newcomer, Caz.

Posing under the guise of 'Amanda', Caz invited Eve out for a drink so they could get to know one another better. Eve had high hopes for their evening together, but her and Amanda failed to find a romantic connection.

Feeling awkward, Eve decided to dip out of the date, but was rocked when Amanda revealed her real name - Caroline - and explained their connection.

Consumed with rage and despair over what Caroline told her, Eve is like a ticking timebomb ready to explode...

Stacey Slater tries to support Eve in the wake of recent events and urges her to stay well away from Caroline.

She insists she will, but as Stacey prepares for her visit from the social workers to see if she's a suitable guardian for daughter Lily's baby, Eve goes against her word.

Sneaking out of the house, Eve heads over to Walford East to confront Caroline. But how will their meeting go?

Not well it seems, as Eve is in a terrible state by the time she arrives home. Unable to contain her emotions any longer, she flies into a fit of rage and completely trashes the kitchen.

Witnessing the destruction caused, Theo Hawthorne comforts Eve and feigns concern for her wellbeing. Meanwhile, Lily and Stacey frantically try to distract the social worker while the mess is cleared up.

Will Eve live to regret her violent outburst?

Elsewhere, all of Bobby Beale, Freddie Slater and Anna Knight's hard work pays off as Bernie Taylor's birthday bash is a roaring success.

However, Bobby isn't in the mood for fun when he clocks the growing chemistry between Anna and Freddie and fears she's sweet on his best mate.

Later on, Anna receives a text message from Gabriel Chang, the private investigator she hired to track down her missing mum, Rose Knight. Anna remains unaware Rose is in fact 'the late' Cindy Beale, who is currently residing in France.

After talking things through with Freddie, Anna decides to meet Gabriel and hear what he's got to say.

Has he found a potential new lead?

Also, Alfie continues to suffer in silence as he struggles to process his recent news.

With the weight of the world on his shoulders, the normally happy chap is less than enthusiastic about spending the day in the Boxing Den with son Tommy and Phil Mitchell.

Concerned Tommy picks up on his dad's distracted mood and reveals he saw Alfie getting into a cab to hospital the previous day.

Will Alfie find the courage to tell his boy the truth?
