Exclamation EastEnders Christmas and New Year 2022 Schedule

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/eas...schedule-2022/

EastEnders has confirmed its scheduling details for the Christmas and New Year period.

The Walford soap is airing some action-packed episodes over the festive season this year, as Mick Carter's ongoing storyline with Janine Butcher finally comes to a head.

As always, there are some schedule changes throughout Christmas and New Year for fans to keep track of.

While the show will mainly be sticking to its regular 7.30pm timeslots from Monday to Thursday, there'll also be a couple of extra editions on days that the show doesn't usually air.

These will be an hour-long episode on Christmas Day, and a bonus edition on New Year's Day too.

The full schedule for the festive season follows below.

The regular schedule returns from January 2, with episodes airing at 7.30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

EastEnders' executive producer Chris Clenshaw recently told Inside Soap: "It's Mick's last Christmas ? and it's pretty epic. Do people want Mick and Janine to go off into the sunset, though? Well, you'll have to wait and see. I hope the audience will be pleased. All I'll say is that it is a tragic love story.

"A lot happens when Mick leaves. The Vic is the beating heart of Walford ? it's a character in its own right ? so who we have in that precinct is important. Rest assured, there are plans afoot to make sure the community doesn't die of thirst!"
