Coronation Street guest star Jon-Paul Bell has switched soap allegiances once again and joined Hollyoaks.
Most recently seen as Imran Habeeb's sly associate Ben Chancellor, Bell also previously showed up in Emmerdale as Austin Ascot and Doctors as PC Tony Milne/Liam Bright.
His Hollyoaks newcomer is named Beau.
"Working on Hollyoaks has been an incredible experience and I'm so honoured to be a part of the passionate, creative, hard-working team here," he said ahead of his first appearance.
"I can't wait for viewers to meet Beau and follow him on his exciting new journey into the village, where he is sure to cause a stir for various well-known characters along the way."
Before that, though, Bell will next show up as Sgt. John Burgin in the Tom Hanks/Steven Spielberg-produced miniseries Masters of the Air on Apple TV+.
Tagged as a follow-up to Band of Brothers and The Pacific, the project chronicles real-life US bomber crews during World War II who battled Adolf Hitler and his Nazi regime.
Cary Joji Fukunaga (No Time to Die), Tim Van Patten (The Sopranos), Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck (Captain Marvel), and Dee Rees (Mudbound) are all down as episode directors, which makes for some astounding entertainment.
Hollyoaks streams first on All 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.
