Terese is having doubts about whether they can justify Harlow's new position, and is left furious when Paul makes a snap decision without confirming it with her.
Chloe realises that Jane isn't coping and goes to Clive for assistance, but he only makes things worse with Jane dangerously close to her breaking point.

Tuesday 24 August (UK: Wednesday 15 September)

Amy wants both Ned and Levi as her dates to the launch party, but when they all decide to attend together Levi finds he has an unexpected visitor.
Hendrix is rattled by Jane's unexpected show of aggression.

Wednesday 25 August (UK: Thursday 16 September)

Levi is stunned his conservative mother Evelyn has turned up, telling Amy he'll have to push the pause button on their open relationship while she's in town.
When Rose attempts to reignite her spark with Toadie by playing a prank on him, an amused Toadie gets swept up in the fun as they try to one-up each other, but it all ends in horror for Melanie.
Sheila is confused by Evelyn's frosty attitude towards her.

Thursday 26 August (UK: Friday 17 September)

Toadie feels completely responsible for Melanie's accident and commits to being by her side as she recuperates in hospital.
Although Evelyn doesn't seem to want to patch things with Sheila, Sheila takes advantage of her presence putting distance between Levi and Amy by inviting her to stay longer.
Levi hates not being able to support Amy in the aftermath of the party disaster and doesn't know how long he can keep up the facade in front of Evelyn.

Jane loses her cool with student Hendrix

The stress of Nicolette's disappearance is getting the better of her mum Jane. Now, it's putting her job as a teacher at the high school in jeopardy.

Although she's terrified she'll never see Nicolette again, Jane assures everyone she's ready to go back to work. But beneath her brave face she's a nervous wreck.

After a long day, Jane breaks down in the empty hallway. As she looks up, she sees one of Hendrix's cameras from his latest project above her. When she realises her moment of vulnerability has been caught on film, she is furious.

When she comes across the teenager, Jane rages at him for invading her privacy. Without thinking, she raises her arm to hit him, before coming to her senses.

Hendrix is taken aback at seeing his own teacher venting her anger in his direction so vehemently. Jane is mortified. She frightens herself with how out of control she was at that moment.

While Hendrix considers telling Susan, he knows how much duress Jane has been under and decides to keep the incident to himself. But Jane knows she needs to come clean. Morals and manners have been drummed into Jane her whole life by her grandmother, Mrs Mangel. She can't help but be honest and face up to her faults."

Rose's crush on Toadie has a painful outcome for rival Melanie

Rose and Toadie have always loved pranking each other, but when Melanie winds up in hospital, it seems they've taken their joking ways a step too far.

This week, the residents of Erinsborough are dressing up as some of their favourite characters to celebrate the launch of Shorts and Briefs Film Festival. But while it should be an upbeat event, there's tension between couple Melanie and Toadie now that Rose is back in town. While Toadie is happy to reconnect with an old friend, Melanie is far from happy to have her around.

Sensing the chemistry, Melanie feels sidelined by Rose's friendship with Toadie, despite his efforts to make her feel secure in their relationship. He's aware Rose may have some feelings for him but he's in a good place with Mel after a rocky patch. He really is trying to be a better partner.

At the launch party for the festival, Rose and Toadie get up to their old practical jokes. While it starts off as some light-hearted fun, one of Toadie's pranks goes terribly wrong. He tricks Rose into taking a sip of a drink laced with chilli, which she spits out, hitting Melanie in the face. Caught by surprise, she falls backwards over the buffet table and bangs her head hard. A guilty Toadie rushes Melanie to hospital.

Meanwhile, Rose is in a panic. The accident is an insurance disaster for the film festival and they can't afford a lawsuit. Desperate, she asks Toadie for help. Toadie wants to help Rose, as he feels partly responsible, as it was their prank that caused this. While Melanie is in hospital, Toadie agrees to help Rose with this mess.

With the tension between the two women as it is, Melanie isn't going to be happy to learn that her boyfriend is now representing the woman who injured her in the first place. What does she have in mind?"

As the search for Nicolette continues, David is increasingly overwhelmed by the stress of it all.

David ups his own search efforts, but his intense approach only proves he's losing a grip on his emotions..

Meanwhile, dangerously close to crossing the line, clarity takes hold of Chloe and she pulls back from Leo's advance. She realises just how deeply her heart belongs to Nicolette and that turning to Leo isn't what she wants. She focuses solely on helping with the search.

Elsewhere, Harlow organises a meeting with Terese, Paul and Jesse, where a remorseful Jesse apologises for the emotional trauma his actions have stirred up. But seeing him still stirs up too much pain about Josh for Terese, so Harlow accepts she can't pursue the friendship. Will she be able to leave it be?

Following David's outburst at Nicolette's obstetrician, Karl suggests he take a leave of absence, and gets a fiery response.

Aaron reaches the end of his tether with David's continued destructive spiral and reminds him they're both facing this nightmare together. Can David pull himself together?

Meanwhile, Chloe is determined to atone for her sins, but Hendrix gives her the cold shoulder and her heartfelt apology to Aaron fails to make headway towards a reconciliation. Needing something to go right, Chloe asks Terese for her job back and is relieved when Terese agrees.

Elsewhere, loved-up Toadie finds it baffling that Melanie's still struggling to land more part-time work. But when he and Mackenzie discover Mel's CV is seriously light, the mystery is quickly solved ? she hasn't even included a number of the big, fancy law firms she's worked for. What is Mel hiding?

Karl reveals to Susan that Melanie once had a very messy affair with her boss.

Meanwhile, Amy and Levi's exciting date is a smash, and it leaves a competitive Ned feeling like he needs to up his game.

Ned plans his own adventurous day out, but it quickly falls apart when he's forced to deal with a work issue. Has he just given Levi the upper hand?

Susan digs further into Melanie's past by meeting up with Dr. Anna Buke. Later, she brings Karl up to date on what she's learnt, and it's not looking great for Mel.

They're about to tell Toadie, but stop when they realise this is the happiest they've seen him since Sonya. What to do with this info now?

Meanwhile, Amy's on cloud nine with her casual dating arrangements with Levi and Ned. But Roxy and Kyle tell her that both guys are secretly beginning to feel more for her than they're letting on.

Ned calls for a catch-up between the three of them and proposes an option no-one saw coming.

Strung-out David refuses to acknowledge Leo's efforts with the search for Nicolette.

Aaron is inspired to reach out to Chloe. He's not ready to forgive her, but he doesn't want their relationship to be irreparably damaged. Chloe and Aaron begin to rebuild, but is it too late for David and Leo?

Meanwhile, everybody is gobsmacked by Ned's proposal that Amy officially date both him and Levi. The guys are starting to take the idea of polyamory more seriously: maybe it is a good solution. It might take the competitiveness out of their arrangement. But is it a step too far for Amy?

Elsewhere, Harlow has enjoyed her new role at Lassiters, but knows she's about to lose the position with Chloe coming back. However, when Chloe drops work for a conversation with Aaron, Harlow steps back in and picks up the slack. Encouraged by Paul, Harlow starts to think very seriously about her future.
