MONDAY

As a new day dawns in Weatherfield, Stephen Reid is planning his escape from the cobbles and the trail of dead bodies, unaware that, the residents of Coronation Street are putting together the pieces of a rather shocking jigsaw puzzle, one that could leave him seeing out his days behind bars, not running one on a beach.

As Stephen slowly realises that his time might be up, and with nothing to lose, he determines to make a final bid for freedom and will stop anyone that gets in his way.

A frustrated Carla is convinced Stephen dosed her up on LSD but without evidence, the police can?t prove it.

When she finds a printout of one-way tickets to Thailand in the office printer Carla convinces DS Swain that Stephen is a flight risk.

Ignoring Swain?s insistence that she tell no one Carla explains to Jenny that the police are investigating Stephen and implores her not to go to Thailand with him, as she could be running off with a murderer.

On the canal towpath, Tim finds a discarded boat hook and starts poking about in the water when a corpse?s hand floats to the surface. Stunned, Tim flees back to his cab and dials 999 to report finding a dead body.

But before he can reveal the whole story, the phone cuts out on Tim and before he can call back, he's aghast when Stephen climbs into the back seat of the cab.

As Stephen tries to strangle him with a tie, Tim makes a bid for freedom but trips on his shoelace and, as he clambers to his feet, he?s knocked unconscious by Stephen with a brick.

As a furious Sally assumes that Tim has gone to the county match with Kevin, her husband is actually fighting for his life in the boot of his car which is being doused in petrol.

Has Stephen killed again?

A seemingly calm and collected Stephen arrives back on the cobbles smoothly bypassing Jenny and heads straight for a shower to wash away all traces of blood and fuel before calling the airline to confirm his flight for tomorrow.

Meanwhile, police lift the roof box from the murky waters of the canal, Craig and Swain shudder to see it contains human remains.



WEDNESDAY

A worried Sally starts to panic when Kevin tells her that Tim did not go to the match with him and Kirk. Where is he?

Meanwhile, at the factory a calm and collected Stephen tricks an oblivious Michael into enabling him to transfer the full balance of Underworld?s account into a bogus one he has set up.

Later, Carla checks her accounts and is shocked when she gets a notification of the transfer. Can she get the DS Swain in time with the evidence to stop Stephen?

The Platt family are stunned when Sarah breaks the news of Stephen defrauding Audrey and drugging Carla. As Stephen leaves his flat he is attacked by a furious Peter but suddenly Audrey arrives and sends Peter packing.

Stephen?s relief at the apparent rescue turns to horror when Audrey accuses him of stealing her house. How will Stephen respond? Will he be forced to kill again to make his escape from the street?

DS Swain learns that Stephen brought forward his flight from Manchester to Bangkok to today and hurries to the airport to intercept him.

Will she get there in time?

A flustered Elaine reports to Kevin and Sally that the Platts believe Stephen murdered anyone who got in his way. Realising Tim was one such person, Sally feels sick and worries that Stephen has hurt Tim, or worse, murdered him!


FRIDAY

As another new day dawns in Weatherfield, Stephen Reid is still planning his escape from the cobbles and the trail of dead bodies he has left behind him. But while two have been discovered, could there be more grim discoveries waiting for the police?

But while Stephen plans to leave Weatherfield, he is still unaware that the residents of Coronation Street and DS Swain have put together the pieces of a rather shocking jigsaw puzzle, one that could leave him seeing out his days behind bars, not running one on a sunny beach in Thailand.

And what about all the people who have stood in Stephen's way during Super Soap Week? Not only has Tim gone missing, but Peter also stood up to the serial killer, as well as Audrey, who was fuming to find out that Stephen had been stealing from her.

We also have Carla, who was stunned to discover that Underworld's bank account had been cleared out... but who will be the one to stop Stephen in his tracks, and who could become his next victim? No one in Weatherfield is safe.

As the shocked residents come to terms with the fact that they have a murderer in their midst, the hunt is on to find Stephen before he can add to his death toll - or are they already too late?
